As a LOST fan it was cool being here, but there’s no particular marker so before coming I recommend seeing the pilot episode recently so you can recognize the filming spots. It’s a very quiet hidden beach in general, very beautiful, but it’s also in the middle of nowhere so I suspect this pilgrimage is for the hardcore fans only.
Plenty of parking across from the beach, there was a long stretch of sand but there were alot of rock's and stick's though this Beach.( Beach shoe's) are a must here. The first 10 feet out or so are all rocks- coral but once you get pass that the bottom is white sand and at this point it's about 6 feet deep. The water is pretty clear as you can see in the videos i took. There were a cuple of turtle's up there to.. downside i didn't see any showers or restrooms available at this Beach. I hope this helps you out and have a great day.
I love lost, came out to see it and because this beach is so remote and not many tourists come here I would probably come out here again for a beach day. The water was warmer then at the Disney resort and the landscape was much more stunning.
What an incredible, gorgeous location! Beware, it does get very breezy here and also may not be best for swimming during the Winter months. Still it really makes me envious of the cast and crew who were able to come and work in such a glorious place.
Do not leave trash, please; this beach is very sensitive and all litter will only be left to accumulate and damage the area due to its isolation. Do be very careful in the Winter, due to swells and generally hazardous conditions at the shoreline -- take your safety seriously, as with anywhere on the North Shore during the Winter, or you won't even live to be sorry.
If your on the North Shore go to Kualoa Ranch.. they have things to keep you informed and entertained for at least 2 days worth of tours and visits.. the secret beach is 2 hours of fun and relaxation
I’m only marking this 3 stars because the location on google maps is wrong. The Lost Camp beach is actually Papa’lloa Beach, access at near the end of Papailoa Road. Had a nightmare finding this because of the gps being wrong. The beach and view is fantastic, LOST fans will be thrilled.
There have always been turtles on the beach when i've come out here - and usually they can be seen swimming around close to shore too. Very very pretty beach, and pretty secluded too, not a whole lot of other people around. But, while the beach is sandy and pretty, right where the surf comes in is mostly rock, and every time i've been the surf has been pretty rough - not very conducive to swimming and definitely not for snorkeling. Granted, maybe it was just rough seas both times i went. But i tried to snorkel this last time and ended up getting pretty beat up trying to get in the water and trying to get back out. But, if you want to see some turtles, it's a pretty good spot!
Amazing experience as a fan of LOST. Seriously felt like it was a place I'd been at before and spent time at. The trees are all the same, even where Eko's church was, those trees are still the same. Can imagine the camp set up when you go there.
Beach is hidden and can be tricky to find if you don't know where to look. Papaloia Rd (sp?) is not marked at all, but if you're coming from Haleiwa, it's the only road you can turn left on after you turn left onto the North Shore highway before the next popular beach. We actually drove past it twice before realizing that was it, and there is parking space but be prepared to fight for a spot. We got lucky as someone was pulling out, we got there to take it. Very few people on the beach, and I'm surprised that more LOSTies aren't making this trek. Maybe in the 8 years since the show ended, the pilgrimage has slowed down. Not for me, though.
Absolutely worth it, a great hidden beach with a special place in my heart.

I loved horseback riding here and the workers were so laid back and friendly! Would definitely come again for a beach ride in the most beautiful place. I love the horses too, esp Ike (:
Beautiful beach! We went on a winter day just to waste time before airport, lots of surfers were out, there was a monk seal just right there in front of us (we didn't get close, and later learned from a sign at a nearby beach that they're endangered,
Beautiful park with nice shade trees. The water was clear in the early morning and seeing the turtles was easy. Nice shallow water/small waves for little kids. Beautiful snorkeling opportunities. Right next to a playground and bathrooms. Showers were
