After reading reviews around Arco, this was one of the higher rated places. Unfortunately, I’d hate to see what the other ones look like as this place was horrible. ||The aesthetics and uniqueness were amazing, but the cleanliness and quality of the rooms were horrific. ||No outlets by beds. ||Toilets that look like they never been cleaned with stains on the seats and rings around the inside of the toilet. ||The carpet was stained and the floor was sticky and squishy when you walked on it. |The beds had pointy coils and very bouncy and uncomfortable. The pillows were flat and look like they must’ve been part of the place when it first was built.||My family and I will not be back here again. Very disappointing.
Rooms are immaculate! Clean, cozy, comfortable and warm. Owners are amazing folk who are American ♥️ and take pride in their motel. Take the time to look over the fine quality of sewing that the owner does.
It's 9pm, exhausted 3rd hotel we try. A " Yes,Vacancy " welcomes us. Bright colors and picnic benches with lots of sunflowers. I thought, "Oh my goodness this place is adorable. " I can hardly wait for daylight. It surely was even cuter during day. When open room at night I loved it. No, it's not new, the cement outside could use a touch up. But let me tell you they thought of a lot of " little things " like, a TV Tray & chair. Some hotels stayed at, no chair, no desk. They have luggage rack, plus they had coffee. Yes we stayed at a nice room that had. NO coffee maker OR COFFEE. SO, this Lost River Motel was not only the most adorable, not cookie cut chain hotel but everything needed : TV, fridge, coffee maker, coffee, microwave, Kitchette!
I should have read reviews first, as others have had the same experience and I could have avoided this altogether. Rooms are filthy, as in they are not cleaned. We had to sleep on top of the blankets in our clothes. Which is something I thought only happened in movies or in the Ghettos of some big town where you know you shouldn't be. This was supposed to be a small town get a way. It's that bad. If I had read reviews I would have continued on to Idaho Falls and actually been able to relax in a non toxic environment. The owner is one of the rudest individuals I have come across in years, so their was no help there. **RED FLAG** BAD EXPERIENCE** If there was an option for zero stars this would be it. The experience has left me angry for a week and a half now, so much so that I am leaving a review, something I do not ordinarily do... Or really more of a warning. OH..MY.. GOD! NO.
Disgusting. Beds had food crumbs/debri must be from a previous guest. Bathroom filthy. Not vented. Floor disgusting. Tub disgusting. Room smelled. Refrigerator nasty. If not being exhausted from driving 30 hours due to death in immediate family never would have stayed. O and desk clerk/ owner or whatever he was was extremely rude.
Room was gross food on bedding. smelled bathroom has no ventilation and very filthy. Fridge had mold in it. Not worth 100.00. Owner operator was rude when room was reserved and rude upon check in.
There was hair and what I'm guessing was food crumbs in the sheets from a previous guest. They definitely hadn't been changed. Spider webs with a dead flying bug in the corner, and the carpets were covered in pet hair. Nice folks but rule #1 is you gotta change the sheets my friends.
I love this place! Very cozy, comfortable and cute rooms. The price is great and they have everything you need for a nice stay. One of my favorite places to stay.
