Nice place next to the river with kayaks decorating the restaurant. The staff is friendly and attentive. Food portions were huge and delicious. Our waitress “Jaden” was very pleasant and checked on us often even though she was the only waitress on that day. We had chicken tenders, house salad and tried a craft beer. They have a nice selection but no hard alcohol drinks. Our lunch cost $39 tab $10 tip. If the service was good please give at least 20%
I had suuuuper casual expectations when we stopped here for food and beer after a long hike. They were very kind to let our little puppy come inside too bc it was so hot outside (we sat away from the main dining area to be respectful). I was so pleasantly surprised how delicious every single thing was that we ordered! Especially beer haha The fries were crispy and fresh, the wings were crunchy fried skin outside and piping hot and tender inside with an excellent spicy sweet sauce. I had a grilled chicken wrap that was delicious- really juicy chicken and the lettuce/Tom/pickle was chilled and complemented the saucy chicken. My fiancé had a cheese steak on a hoagie that was loaded with meat and peppers and onions, and fresh cooked house chips. One of those meals you just kept eating bc it was so good! Thanks so much for great service and excellent dishes and for being kind to our puppy :)
The food is super delicious, they have gluten-free pizzas, and you can pick any toppings you want and sauce. They use separate pans and pizza tools and they wash there tools so that you don't have to worry about crossing contamination. While you are eating your food and you get to see a river and trees while you are enjoying your food. I can't wait to come back and enjoy some more food options.
We ordered a pizza and a salad ahead of time for pickup through the slice app. With a tip, it came to about 50 bucks. Pizza was cold by the time we got home, so maybe it's better fresh at the place? We had to put it back in the oven. (15 minute drive.) We love pizza and weren't really impressed. It was okay. I recommend adding extra cheese and asking for an extra sauce. We'll try again someday, but will dine in to see if it is better.
I wish I could get my money back. I ordered online and got my order on time, everything was great just the food is nasty. Don’t get the nachos. Pizza is edible but still disappointing.
Absolutely love this place! You can't beat the atmosphere. A big patio overlooking the Cape Fear River. Inside feels really welcoming with murals painted on the walls by a local artist. They had live music the night I was there. The food is fresh, delicious, reasonably priced and great portions. They have a lot of options from apps, salads, sandwiches and pizza. This is a great spot to visit after a day on the river with a kayaking outfitter next door or a great local spot for evening out or weekend brunch!
Absolutely, This pizza place is a true gem! Not only do they offer deliciously crafted gluten-free pizzas, but the fact that you can enjoy them while taking in the beautiful Riverview outdoors makes it even better. The crust is perfectly crispy, the toppings are fresh, and the flavors are absolutely mouthwatering. Whether you have dietary restrictions or simply love great pizza, this place is a must-visit. Treat yourself to a slice (or a whole pie!) and revel in the combination of delectable pizza and stunning scenery. 🍕🌅
We had an early lunch after a hike in nearby Raven Rock last summer and it was great. It wasn’t too busy so our drinks and food came out quickly. Can’t beat a cold beverage by the water and a hot fresh pizza!

I stopped at this ice cream place after spotting it on Google Maps. It's walkup or drive up order only. I found the staff to be very friendly! They were ready to offer suggestions when I asked. There is a large selection of latte's and Hershey brand
I would like to update my review! My first time going here was not so great. We gave it another shot since many of our friends really enjoyed this place. I'm so glad we did! We have now been in several times since our first visit, and things are so m
Three of us went to lunch at noon. We were seated right away and asked what we wanted to drink. Food was awesome. Service was perfect. The French Dip had a nice amount of beef and the bun was soft. I asked for provolone instead of Swiss and
