This was such a great adventure for our family and an unexpected find in the middle of Iowa. The park was beautiful and incredibly clean. This is a great place to take children of all ages and for the adventurous adults as well. The two roller coasters are very exciting. Every piece of food and drink I had during the day was great. I was extremely surprised to see a chicken fried rice bowl in the market grille and even more surprised by how good it was. We thought the story and lore created for the park as well as the app you can download added an extra special component to the day. The characters and story really engaged our children and elevated the day from an amusement park to an adventure in the magical realm of the Lost Island. I can't recommend this park enough, we will definitely be coming back and encourage you to visit as well!

We had a fantastic trip to Lost Iskand theme park in Waterloo, Iowa. What I enjoyed about it the most was how incredibly thorough, detail, and specific they were in creating the different roles they had. They had four different worlds, fire, water, earth, and air. Each world had its own color scheme, music, style, and rides that were fashion just for that world. The level of detail even was brought into the restrooms, the sidewalks, and the lights they used around the park. This is probably one of the most amazing theme parks I’ve ever been to. They also had an interactive phone app that you could use in finding different guides, badges, and awards. they are also amazing costume characters that walked around the park and interacted with the patrons. They also had a specific area just for kids. Enjoy the photos. And book your trip!

This park is AWESOME. As a roller coaster enthusiast who's been to 40+ parks around the country, I was super excited to come out here and check out what they're doing with this place, and was pleasantly surprised to find passionate people trying to make their dream come true. It's not perfect and very rough around the edges, but for a first attempt at a ground up theme park it's got so much soul and you can really tell they're trying to put on the best show they can with the resources they have. If they can tighten up some operational stuff and most importantly build shade structures which are desperately needed on a hot day, I could see myself returning and enjoying myself even more.

This place was a hidden gem! We went on a Friday afternoon after a trip to the water park. The park was beautiful the amenities were great, there were so many different things to do for all age ranges. I couldn't believe how not busy it was. My only couple recommendations is, you pay to park here but not at the waterpark, that may deter people from doing one and not the other also, connecting the parks might make things easier. We wanted to walk between and go back and forth and that was not an option. The staff was super friendly and the kids loved all the rides! We will definitely be back!!! I gave it 4 stars only because I wish they had connected the parks and they could use some more shade in areas.

Love this park! The park is so clean and very well themed! The staff were so friendly all around the park. I love the theme of the four realms, and the characters. Volkanu and Matugani were my favorites! The food was great, and the day spent there was perfect! I would recommend this place to anyone visiting or living in the Waterloo/Cedar Falls area!

Would highly recommend coming to Lost Island Themepark. They've got the full spectrum of rides from intense to family. The dark ride was way better than expected with all of the effects working perfectly. Prices for everything from admission to food was very fair. Only criticisms are things they already know like lack of shade and that's really minor compared to the whole package. The place is very clean and just looks great. I think being open on the weekends in the fall would be awesome with some kind of haunted/scare zone theme, but maybe that's in the works in a few years. Hopeful they can expand like they want to in the near future.

My family of six (19, 14, 10, 9) had a amazing time. There were so many rides for all ages. Kid rides for the littler kids, family rides for all of us, thrill rides for older kids and us. I really enjoyed the area half way through the park where we had a adult drink and the kids played in the sand and water. Great way to relax mid day. The restaurants are clean. Food was hot and delicious. Service was also great. The theme of the park is felt all the way though from ride operaters to the food service. We got a beautiful illustrated book about the Tamariki that my kids love looking at remembering all the different lands there are. They enjoyed the key in the book that they used to translate symbols they saw throughout the park. We'll definitely be back. Hopefully for a date night when they start to stay open later.

Their tacos are truly some of the best in th Cedar Valley. The tacos I had were carnitas, al pastor, and asada. If you like some extra spice I highly recommend their hot sauce. Overall it's reasonably priced and the staff is always friendly.

Ordered the chicken parm and crispy garlic bread. 45 minutes later still no chicken parm or garlic bread. The bartender told me they don't serve food and that I'm an idiot. Will not be back.
