We enjoyed walking through the pumpkin and chile fields with our granddaughter. She enjoyed the piano and couches set up in the sunflower field. What a fun place! We bought pumpkins and honey and truly enjoyed a beautiful day.

We were vendors at the Maize Maze Festival. It was a great place, under huge cottonwood trees. In the morning, the sky was filled with Hot air balloons, cranes, and Canada Geese. It was magical!

A rural swath of public land smack dab in the city, Los Poblanos Open Fields (not to be confused with Los Poblanos the private farm resort) is a lovely spot for a walk or run year round. Leashed dogs are okay. There are port-a-potties. Bring water.

This was an effort of the general public to campaign for allowing the open space to be used for community benefit. The gates that allow the vehicles are actually locked and so it is walking only trail.

We went for a walk and to see the Sandhills Cranes. The cranes allowed us to get very close. A coyote even came through the field.

Loved it! But don't forget your water and sunscreen! The watermelon lemonade from Big Jim's is the best

My dog and I took a walk in between rainstorms and the fields were full of sandhill cranes and other migratory Birds. The trails are packed dirt roads and easy to walk on.

You'll never believe you're in the middle of the city when you visit this place. Lots of areas to explore. It's a bunch of open fields with roads through the area and irrigation ditches, with a community garden on the northwest side of the fields. Full of all kinds of animals... Coyotes, porcupines, crawdads and fish in the ditches, some beavers, skunks, lots of birds especially during the migration times, and the wetter seasons lots of toads that make a ton of noise especially at night. There is dog poop bags and a few trash cans, no drinking water, one bathroom at the parking lot off Montano. You can take some great photos in this area too! Go check it out!

Very clean trail. There were many scenic views along the trail. Mutt mitts (doggie poo bags) are available and they are better than the poo bags that you buy in the store. There are a few benches overlooking truly amazing landscapes. Bring some water

This place is pretty neat. You get to see all sorts of rock carvings in different areas. We went here when it was in the 30s as I avoid the hot days. Nice walk, the parking lot is small.

Easy walk with a payout of large rocks that are a great place to rest. This is one of my favorite very easy hikes around Albuquerque. Most of the ground is fairly level and to get to the type of rocks shown, it's less than a mile. I like this hike
