We are passing through and looking for a Mexican food place. I gave this place a 5 but they deserve a 10⭐️ it was absolutely the best Street Taco I’ve ever had. The corn shells were homemade amazing. My husband had fajitas. Flour shells homemade also. 👍🏻❤️ I told you we would return here on our next trip to Cruise. So 10mo later We came again it’s just as amazing and also brought about 10 more people with us! So glad we found this gem 💎. 5⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Fantastic authentic Mexican food served by a loving family! No dish was bad, the mole salsa and chips to start were superb. Tacos were beyond flavorful and well portioned. The husband and wife that run this restaurant are amazing people. Definitely stop by!

This is the best, authentic, and very flavorful Mexican food we have tasted in a LONG TIME!The place is small and cozy...not cramped at all and the entire staff is very friendly and very sweet! We were served chips and DELICIOUS salsa as an appetizer, and I am a person who does not like salsa at all, but I devoured the entire dish with the chips! Trust me... it is that awesome. So then the meal came. We ordered three different plates. And we all tasted each other's and it was fantastic! We tried the burrito which was smothered with cheese and delicious! We also had the gorditas which is a thick corn tortillas stuffed with cheese, meat, onions and all other kinds of goodies! We also had the fajitas and they were tender and very good! Trust me this place has wonderful food and it has a nice family feel to it. If you like REAL MEXICAN food, not Tex-Mex, but authentic Mexican...this is the place to go!

For context, I'm Latino and have eaten Mexican food all over Texas and in Mexico. Trust me when I say the food tastes like a 10 year old cooked it for their little siblings. Breakfast was awful. We found this place based on the Google review score :(. We came in on a Sunday morning and the place was empty. That should have been the first sign to leave. We ordered a chilaquiles plate, a machacado plate, and 2 coffees. The coffee was too watered down. The chilaquiles had almost no salsa roja on them, and the machacado was flavorless, greasy, and didn't have any veggies in it. The beans tasted bad too. The potatoes were the best part of the meal, but were also flavorless. It feels like this restaurant could do well to practice using more seasoning or even salt. I'm mostly just mad the reviews were so high for a place that is obviously not good. Maybe it's just their breakfast that is bad, but I won't be coming back to find out.

The meat was a little too gristly for me to chew but it tasted good.

Steer clear of breakfast here! Bacon was horrible. I sent it back and they replaced it - just as bad. So they replaced that with ham… one razor thin deli slice. Beans were cold. Eggs were runny. “Ranchero sauce” was garbage from a bottle. Service was good

My order was a total miss. It was delivery, so I couldn’t just ask wait staff for a correction. Upon calling the store, they weren’t willing to make right. Absolutely avoid this retaurant!

My absolute favorite Mexican restaurant. As soon as you hit the door they trat you like family. I have been going for awhile now and absolutely love it. They have the best birria tacos in Nacogdoches. Definitely a must try!!!
