Longstreet Cafe #2 - Cafe in Gainesville - 405 Pearl Nix Pkwy, USA

Worst biscuit I've had besides the other Long Street Cafe. Biscuits are supposed to be light and fluffy not thick and doughy. You'd have to have a gallon of tea to wash this biscuit down. After the second but I tossed the biscuit and only ate the sausage. This place cannot have a 4.5 star for their biscuits. You can get a better biscuit at a convenience store. You should give me my $10 back for this thick sticky biscuit. I'll never eat here again hope this place closes for good really soon or get a better cook.

I've eaten at both places! RAW BISCUITS is what I continue to get! How they have a 4. Anything blows my mind. We have been eating here for years. Lately they have been raw biscuits we pay good money for these. I will never eat here again.

A quaint diner that I visited passing through town full the parking lot and drive thru full of locals. They have a breakfast bar with all the Home-style Southern favorites that you crave. Pricing was by item (but with no signs or exact measurements for a portion) and you fill up a take out box or a plate to eat in the dining area (with seats/tables available despite a full parking lot). The breakfast gravy was scrumdiddlyumptious and the food wasn't too greasy or salty either for a heavy meal. I spent a little over $10 with a coffee for my meal. I would definitely recommend this place if you like a home cooked breakfast.

I found myself in Gainesville, Ga on business and looking for a nice southern breakfast place. Longstreet Cafe is just that. At first glance it looks like a buffet but it’s a cafeteria. Everything is a La cart. I got a really hearty breakfast for about $12 and it was worth it! I need to find a reason to go back to Gainesville

Feels like home, food is yummy and filling, doesn't break the bank, and the people are warm.

I finally made it to Longstreet Cafe for lunch. Longstreet Cafe is a delightful Southern cooking gem that is warm and cozy. The staff makes you feel right at home. I had the fried chicken, mac & cheese, mashed potatoes and green beans. To me this exemplifies the best of southern cooking. It took me back to my great grandmothers cooking. Check them out, you will be satisfied.

I lived 3 mi from this restaurant for over 3 years and didn't even realize that it existed and how delicious it was. When we sold our house, we stopped here for the very first time to grab breakfast before the closing, because I didn't want to eat any more McDonald's, and I was both elated and saddened because it was the most delicious breakfast that I've ever had in the Atlanta area, and I had moved! Whenever I come back to visit I will be making a special drive to Gainesville just to eat here!

It was very nice. You pay more for a meal at McDonalds. I'm sure I'll be back.
