We Loved the entertainment, everyone really friendly. Is like hanging out with families you never new you had. We had a awsome time.

Everything was excellent! Food, drinks, atmosphere - and 5-star service. We had New England clam chowder, crab cakes, goat cheese and green apple salad, and prime rib sandwich- everyone was very impressed! My grandparents were very pleased, so that’s saying a lot!

The new owners are not providing adequate staffing! Our waitress was great but ALL ALONE, not even a bartender, at lunch on a Saturday with every seat at bar full, a large table, and people seated in the dining room, in addition to our high top. People were leaving because the poor waitress couldn’t possibly keep up.

We weren’t acknowledged at the door along with two other parties in line behind us for at least 15 minutes. To top it off,a party behind us all walked by us,talked to the person who seemed to be running things and got seated ahead of us all. When we finally got seated we told him what we wanted right then and there. We sat there with nothing on the table for over a half an hour only to be told they ran out of that particular steak. Instead of ordering something else and waiting another half hour or more we just walked out. Very disappointed

I'm deeply disappointed by the unpleasant and frustrating experience my husband and I had at this establishment. We decided to try it out based on a friend's recommendation, but upon arrival, we weren't acknowledged . I initially didn't take offense, considering it was a busy Thursday night. We then proceeded to the bar, where the bartender also failed to acknowledge us. While this didn't bother us at first, we couldn't help but notice that a white couple who arrived after us was immediately served. It's now 2023, and no establishment should make people feel uncomfortable or discriminated against due to their skin tone. We decided to leave at this point, and I'm committed to sharing our experience to ensure others don't face similar situations. If I could rate this place with zero stars, I certainly would. We said nothing and walked away because we didn't want to be stereotyped as “Angry Black People”. This experience is deeply discomforting, and it's hard to wash away this bad taste from our mouths. Simple gestures like "I'll be with you in a minute" go a long way in ensuring all customers feel valued and respected.

It's no longer your old Allegra's. The service and the food now suck. Our waitress Danielle made me feel "small" if any African American is reading this review. My friend and I go out every weekend and spend a lot of money but every once in awhile, frequent our home town restaurants... NEVER AGAIN. By the way I was so disgusted and appalled by the covert racism, I didn't order anything for myself but my girlfriend insisted on ordering me a dripping with oil onions rings which I tasted to make her feel better and let her pack the rest. I forgot to mention that when the onion rings came I swapped plates with her because I was concerned of spit or trash in the food.

Honestly don't even know how this place is busy. No one to sit you, been ignored for 10 minutes. Said I was here for food multiple times but have yet to get a menu, never had such awful service. Guess I won't be able to try the food. Service is zero stars. Even the owner can't take care of customers. Told me he would bring a menu and had to go back up to him twice before getting anything.

The food and service were very good, Thursday steak night $20 was fantastic, we'll be back. Like many restaurants post covid, not enough servers, bartenders, staff, dishwashers to handle the crowd properly.
