We arrived pretty late and everyone was still super accommodating and friendly. Kelsey (sp?) was incredible!
She was attentive and did a great job.
The food was delicious. The drinks were perfect. The roasted wings are so good I would return just for these!!
Thank you for a great dinner on our travels!!
LongHorn never disappoints. Our waiter Candy was outstanding. She was very knowledgeable of the menu and extremely friendly. We ordered the shrimp, soup, and salad to start us off. All were very tasty. For our entrées we had the Grilled Pork Chops, one with fries the other with a baked potato. The last entrée were a steak and potatoes. All three entrées were seasoned perfectly and cooked to perfection. A great dining experience.
A few menu items were "out of stock" which was strange. The potato soup was more cheese than potato but it was fine. Sat at the bar and froze - everyone was wearing a coat. Went to restroom which is on the other side of the building and it was much more comfortable, no one was wearing a jacket! Server was top notch!
It saddens me that I cannot get a steak cooked to the level of doneness right the first time.
Ordered med rare outlaw ribeye ($29.29) and was served rare...pitiful. 👎👎👎 Earlier visit, I ordered medium and received med well.
Love the flavor of Longhorn, but I cannot get what I order. My wife's appetizer Wild West Shrimp ($11.79) was overcooked. 👎👎👎She ate half and left the other half.
I only wish kitchen staff could prepare an order to proper specifications.
I showed my waiter the ribeye and he offered to take it back, but I told him that I will take it home and cook it myself. I do not like returning food to the kitchen.
I did enjoy the chicken wings ($11.99) and my wife enjoyed the mixed green salad with white balsamic dressing. She was also surprised at the price of an ice tea ($3.39).
Pretty bad when the only positive thing I can say about my visit was good chicken wings and a cold salad.
Lastly, I must add that I was concerned when the host told me that it would be 15 minutes before we would be seated...Thursday afternoon @ 1:45??? Hmmm...😒😒😒
I poked my head around into the dining room and it was 70% empty. I told my wife: "let's go somewhere else, but she loves the wild west shrimp.
I will not visit this establishment again in Trussville, Alabama. What is going on Longhorn Trussville?Total price for lunch was $62.11 and I left Keith, our waiter $12.00. GRAND TOTAL $74.11...👎👎👎 for improperly cooked food. No more!
Super friendly service and my steak was seasoned and cooked perfectly. I ordered a Manhattan but they couldn’t make it because there was no vermouth. There was also no Pimm’s or Campari so I had trouble choosing a before dinner drink.
I started with a Caesar Salad which was very nice. I ordered Lobster Chowder but they forgot it. I had asparagus as my side which was disappointing because right now, in the stores, the asparagus is beautiful but I was served gigantic woody spears. Some were hard and others were mush. The whole thing was drowning in butter too which flooded the plate and distracted from the perfect steak.
Overall my experience was acceptable and I will return.
Steak with fries, and the sweet n' spicy chicken starters. Very good 😁
My waitress, Natalie, was really nice! She was on top of my drink before it was empty and checked on me the right amount of times. I ordered the T-bone, asparagus, salad and stuffed mushrooms. The T-bone was AMAZING!! best I've had from a restaurant in years! The asparagus had a little too much pepper on it but was still good. I didn't really care for the salad because of the greens they used, but it was still edible and the ranch dressing was really good. The stuffed mushrooms were also good. Overall, couldn't be happier. Will definitely eat here again when I'm in the area.
Great food, and great dessert! My family comes here for celebrations often, and it is well worth it to wait on busy nights for a good meal here. The dessert in the image is their Chocolate Stampede.
