LongHorn Steakhouse - Steak house in Lafayette - 4248 Ambassador Caffery Pkwy, USA

This past Sunday was my first time going dine in there. My son had his birthday dinner over there we could not make a reservation even though we were coming 100 miles from another parish so I had to go to Lafayette early call in almost 2 hours ahead of time.. The people that were coming to have dinner with us also came far away we waited on them. The waitress had a very messed up attitude, and was very jumpy and impatient. We ordered drinks and appetizers until they got there and when they got there, we ordered food. We ordered steaks medium well they came to our plate medium rare and bloody. The french fries over there were overcooked so hard and greasy. It was ridiculous. This was my first, but it’s actually my last time going visit I don’t care for the associates. The atmosphere was fine, but the tables are so small and they’re pushed so close together people behind us was getting up, knocking over our drinks and hitting us without saying excuse me.And before coming out of character, we did get the check and paid for the ticket. We had a problem with a drink and we told the waitress six times she never insisted on getting us another drink so I had to go to the bartender which he was very nice friendly and professional and he apologized and he switched out the drink for a Long Island iced tea. The waitress never took drink glasses , or any dishes off our table. She just continue to fill the drinks with glasses, so there was barely room for us to eat. Either way, it was a horrible experience, but I stay away from these types of restaurant. The prices on their food were very good. The food was not good, and the service was even worse.

Amazing cheese fries here!!! Melty cheese with a queso sauce over crispy fries, yumm!! It wasn’t on the lunch menu, but the waitress easily accommodated it! The other food was very typical steakhouse fare. The atmosphere is cozy, western themed, could definitely be a date night spot. Good lunch menu as well, I got a burger and a side for $10!!

Usually happy with my experience here but tonight my steak was a joke. It was so thin it could never have been medium like I requested. It was well done. The rest of the food was good but the steak, the main entree, was disappointing.

The only reason why I gave 5 stars is because this is a great place to dine with a large family. Prices are great and the staff is always friendly and kind. Except this morning when we went eat. After the meal was paid for, we realized once inside the vehicle the Waiter forget to give us the correct change back. We was short by $10 but it is what it is. Still a great place. Thanks. :)

I went to eat here because it is one of the only restaurants that my mom will eat at. She likes her food VERY bland and an onion is not allowed to touch it! I usually would have gotten a steak but I just got a pellet grill and have cooked a lot of superior steaks. I ordered the salmon. It was ok. The Mac & cheese was possibility the best I have ever eaten. I would not choose to go back but again I didn't choose to go there to begin with.

The service was great didn’t have to wait long. I went on Easter Sunday. The server was really cool and checked in us multiple time to make sure we had everything we needed. The alcohol beverages are very big and strong!!! 🙌🏾

Food was delicious! Service on the other hand, not so great. We had to track our waiter down to ask for things that should have already been brought to our table. Empty ketchup bottle, asked for load mashed potatoes, got plain mashed potatoes, when my meal was almost done, is when I received the toppings for my mashed potatoes.

Really great food. We haven't been here in ages but had a lovely time today. They have steaks and other options for folks. We took my mom for mother's day and she couldn't stop talking about how good her food was. Nice and flavorful. Western theme. The menus include calorie counts in them which is freaking amazing for anyone trying to watch things. Great experience overall.
