Long Road Distillers - Cocktail bar in Grand Rapids - 537 Leonard St NW, USA

I and a good friend of mine were driving through Grand Rapids, MI, and found Long Road Distillers. A awesome find. I like small batch distilleries. Small batch distillers make some of the best whiskeys and bourbon. Plus, other spirits. This is one of those distilleries. If you are near or driving through Grand Rapids, you need to stop in and enjoy what they make. If you live in Grand Rapids and haven't been there. What are you waiting for!!!!

Went with friends to grab drinks after a class we are all taking nearby since many of us preferred non-alcoholic drinks and they have about five mocktails. Everything was great, food, drinks, staff, service, speed of service, cleanliness, atmosphere, highly recommend, I'd definitely go again. :)

What a pleasant spot! Great atmosphere for drinks and meeting with friends. The staff was friendly and helpful throughout our visit. The brussels sprout appetizer was absolutely delicious. Definitely recommend. We sat at the wooden bench-style booth in the corner. My only complaint is that the bench wasn't very comfortable. It feels like you're sitting at a picnic table. There isn't a good way to sit without getting uncomfortable after a few minutes. I think a few pillows would make that front corner table even cozier! There are all different types of seating, not all seats are this wooden bench type. Overall, I would recommend giving Long Road Distillers a try!!

Stopped by this local GR distiller on a sunny weekend afternoon and enjoyed some fun cocktails (no food). Everyone picked something different and all were great. It was not very busy, but our server was a tad slow. They have some specialty spirits like Nocino (walnut liqueur) that are uncommon. Worth a visit!

Great overall experience here!! Our drink master was outstanding and was very friendly. He knew a lot about the drinks on the menu. Watching him make the drinks is truly a form of art. Both the hand made drinks and the pre mixed drinks of the taps were outstanding. We definitely have already been talking about going back.

The liquor is very good. However, and this may have been the dish I ordered (pesto roasted chicken), the food was mid at best. It was under seasoned and there was almost no pesto flavor at all. The blood clots in the chicken were also unappealing, but I get that happens sometimes. The corn bread that came with it was delicious, but I highly recommend you stay away from the bland, tasteless chicken. My partner said that the fish and chips was ok, though the fries were cold, so a lot of meh there too. We will happily go back for drinks, but we don't plan on eating there again. Liquor: 4 Food: 2 That averages to a 3.

Fantastic cocktails and pretty decent food as well. Interior decor is a pleasant fusion of modern and rustic charm - if that's not your thing, there's also outdoor seating. +1 for there being bike parking directly out front - highly appreciated.

The cocktails are fantastic, they are all perfectly crafted and a perfect flavor explosion in the mouth with a nice finish. Their meals are small but perfectly plated. The cost for quality is reasonable and wait staff exceptional.
