Beautiful park and trails. Love that they pay homage to the previous tenants, Pioneer City and Kapok Tree Inn, with pictures and memorabilia in the Main Hall along with exhibits, fossils and interactive content for the kids

It's a nice little trek through nature, and you'll see a few birds. But that said, it surprises me how few birds there are. I came earlyish, but didn't see too many. Still, it's a nice place to unwind and take a break!

I'm a local resident but never had been here. Very impressed with the nature center. My kids enjoyed it. I learned a lot about local history. We had a nice walk on the trails. We definitely will return. Very clean restrooms.

Another hidden gem. I've lived in Coral Springs nearly 19 years and only discovered this place today. If you happen to have your own horse, the bridle path is paradise. If not, bring your bicycles for an easy ride along a paved sidewalk that parallels the horse trail. The nature center provides an informative hands-on exhibit of flora, fauna, and interesting exhibits of indigenous peoples from long ago. It's hard to think this was an island once, in the heart of Davie. Outback is an amazing lilypad pond that will remind art lovers of a Monet painting. Cold drinks and rocking chairs are available.

Very tranquil and informative. Learned new information on native American tribes that lived in Florida in the past. Peaceful walk in a forest environment. Had gazebos, and grass fields for picnics, or parties. Also a nice place for a run.

Lovely walk! The paths and trails are very well maintained. Plenty of photo opportunities along the path, along with rest areas, and the large pavilion/guest center with the most magnificent porch filled with rocking chairs and overhead fans.

A great park with a bit of history attached to it! Did you know that 56 years ago this location was home to an Old West theme park, complete with a saloon, general store and gun fights at high noon? Or how about that the same ground was home to ever so popular Kapok Tree Restaurant in the 1974. The beauty of this park not only lies on the nature trail and scenery but the wealth of history associated with the land. This park is truly one very unique and very educational trip!

Beautiful nature center, great paved sidewalks to wander around, lots of butterflies, great nature walk spot for my baby and I! You really feel deep in the jungle at some points, you can’t hear any cars, and we were the only people there when we went- great place to spend time in nature, catch a breathe and relax.
