Long John Silver's | A&W - Fast food restaurant in Cave City - 816 Mammoth Cave St, USA

we LOVED the food and had a great lunch while on vaca with our family! we treated ourselves to many menu options which makes it easy for a family with different taste buds!! highly recommended and I ordered the fish and chicken basket and brought the rest back to the hotel to enjoy!!

Was mixed with a&w, so I didn't see the full menu like at other ones. They may still be available if you ask, I'm not sure. Service was friendly and very fast. Made for a nice little quick dinner on the road.

To most it's just a fast food joint, but this is my comfort food place. The staff has NEVER gotten my food wrong and they are always a pleasure to talk to. Definitely better than the one that was in glasgow! Fav comfort food place.

We got the 12 piece family meal and it was a lot of food! The sides were huge. Everything tasted good and was nice and hot. The pieces of fish were much larger than I expected. I travel through the area on occasions and would definitely stop here again.

Food is always FRESH. Restaurant is always CLEAN. Employees are always FRIENDLY. We drive up from Bowling Green JUST to eat at LJS. Thank you for the great service!

I stopped by this restaurant on a trip between Nashville and Indy on 8-21-23. I regularly stop at Cave City to eat because of the convenience and a few different choices on this fairly regular drive. It was a hot day, and my A/C was out on my vehicle. A root beer float sounded like a great idea. Even though expensive at $4.49 for a medium size (more than at other A&W locations I've been to), that's what I ordered. I also ordered a full meal from Long John Silver's, for a total of $21.25. There was no visible ice cream on the float, except for a smidge of discolored foam on top. And when I stirred the drink, it was fully liquid, with absolutely NO ice cream present. I was thoroughly disappointed, and immediately went to the counter to nicely express my dissatisfaction. I spoke with 2 employees and a manager, and they refused to satisfactorily address or resolve this issue. I would NEVER order (or recommend) another root beer float from this location, and would hesitate to do so at any other A&W establishment because of this experience. (Unfortunately, I missed out on the opportunity to take a photo of this drink.)

It's fast food, for what it is, it was good. My wife had their bowl of shrimp and it was tasty she said. The rootbeer on tap was good! Clean place nice atmosphere.

wanna rip my tongue off over the fact that two years ago, I bit into the hush puppy that was laying on top of this... I'm appalled to this day...
