A good hike, takes 45-min to an hour and is fairly steep but not that big of a deal. Lots of people out there so not very secluded. A nice place to get a workout without having to drive too far.
Free and open 24 hours. Nice steep trails. Awesome place to go for a mini hike and a great view of Las Vegas. The hike up only took me about 30 minutes, but it's not a race. Take breaks if you need to. I highly recommend wearing hiking shoes, stretch before you go and bring some water.
A well maintained and popular hike that affords great views of the city. Don’t underestimate this hike as the elevation gain is around 500 feet. Bring water and shade, especially in the summer months. The top of the mountain is only half way, and people have had to be rescued due to heat exhaustion. Highly recommended for beginners and suitable for kids as long as you are prepared.
There is a neat post surrounded by 16 pillars. Each pillars corresponds with a historical point of interest lying on the Nevada map. Plenty of of playgrounds and interactive mechanisms for the young ones. A wide trail circles the mountain. The westside of the mountain features a hiking path that takes you to a precipice that overlooks the park itself, or you can venture to the peak and enjoy an awesome view of Las Vegas Valley. Make sure to bring water and hiking gear for the mountain.
A pleasant, somewhat rugged and strenuous, hike up Lone Mountain affords nice views of northwest Las Vegas. The trailhead is easily accessible and it is in a pleasant residential area. No shade along the trail, so I'd advise against doing it in the heat of summer.
Fairly steep, but short hike from parking lot to the top. For strong hikers, it’ll take 15-20 minutes. Beautiful views of the Vegas valley, can be very windy up top.
This hike was supper easy and the views at the end of the hike were gorgeous definitely recommend this hike 10/10
Huge dog park and playgrounds are great for dog and kids. Fairly hard hike to the top of mountain.
Parking lot entrances are small & easily missed. Plenty of trash cans & pet bag dispensers. Smelly restroom is available & there is a dog friendly water fountain.

Lovely Temple, we enjoyed the visit! We were traveling from California to Utah and there was a Family History Center adjacent to the temple where we could change our clothes to go through a session. There's also an arboretum on the inside - very peac
