Thought we went to the wrong place at first, but it opens up more in the back. The Ceasar salad was yummy, the Bistro steak with that steak butter was positively delicious, and the chocolate mousse had a nice flavor. I absolutely loved the drink I had! I'm totally spacing on the name right now though!!!! I'm definitely coming back. I already have a date planned with my friends to eat here next time we go out. Loved the experience.
This is definitely the best Italian restaurant in Bellingham, Washington and also in my opinion, a top rated Italian restaurant in Western Washington. The location is absolutely spectacular right by the marina with plenty of both indoor and outdoor seating in a very clean and well kept dining facility. The menu is your typical Italian fair, and I have tried many of their dishes, and they all are exceptional. Focaccia bread with olive oil and garlic is a great beginning to an even better dining experience. Once your food arrives, the service is excellent and it is clear that they place high standards on their employees to provide a wonderful dining experience to their customers. I would highly recommend going to Lombardi for a great dining experience.
Lombardi's in Bellingham is the perfect place to go to relax, enjoy good food, and ambiance. They have the best calamari out there (I don't like it anywhere else). Tiramisu is the perfect way to end a meal - perfectly moist and creamy. My go to meal here is their lasagna because they add an Alfredo sauce on top to finish it off. It's different and I like it. This time I added a sweet apple cinnamon drink to my meal and enjoyed that with their seasonal pear salad. My partner got the pork shank and the staff was right - it was fall-off-the-bone tender. The risotto and brussel sprouts it was served with were a nice balance of creamy and crunchy. This is a nice place to dine for groups too since they have a party room.
We started with Calamari, served with a thin light cornstarch based batter and bread. My wife really likes the cornstarch component, we both thought the calamari was tender. We ordered the Italian Supper Club that includes: Italian sausage pepper soup, chicken Parmesan, fettuccine and brussel sprouts. The pasta was undercooked and dry as was the sauce in general but, specific to the chicken Parmesan, appeared closer to tomato paste. I ordered the seasonal Gabellieri pizza and recalled just as the last time the dough was undercooked as well as lacking gluten development and the toppings were overpowered by cheese.
We had a super delicious dinner, and our server was amazing!! The view of the water was beautiful, but they had flies everywhere. We kept having to wave them off our food. We asked to move away from the windows and the view to get away from the flies. It wasn't our servers fault, and she gave us 1/2 our meal and a free dessert 😋
WowWowWow! First things first, KAIA took exceptional care of us! We celebrated my wife’s birthday @ Lombardi’s and even though Kaia seemed to be running the entire FOH, she was there for us every step of the way & she managed our dinner “timing” to perfection! The Tuscan Prawns were delicious, the focaccia with the DECADENT olive oil & garlic side dish was spectacular, and the Saltimbocca was melt in your mouth good, good, good! From the inside bar area to the dining room, and the two outside areas overlooking the marina, there is not a bad seat in the house! We were thrilled at the surprising quality and the attention to detail in every aspect of our dining experience. It was an evening to remember!! Thank you Kaia for taking such good care of us!!!
The food was fresh and delicious. The mushroom ravioli with added prawns was amazing. Our server Brianna was delightful and made this a wonderful experience. We will defiantly return when we are back in the area.
You get what you pay for. In this case, Lombardi's is expensive, but well worth the experience if you want to splurge. Amazing food, excellent service, and nice atmosphere.

I loved this place! The inside was beautiful and thoughtfully decorated a It sounds like two brothers who were originally from Turkey own the place - but I totally overheard that, so I could be wrong. I had the cardamom coffee, my husband had the l
