The dish is well prepared and was prepared super quickly. After ordering, I don't think it took five minutes for them to call us to eat. Unfortunately, the brown rice was a little hard and the meat had too much fat. We've had it at other Hawaiian barbecues but never with so much fat on the meat. The normal dish is very well served and it is possible to easily feed two normal people. If you're not very hungry, order the smaller plate.

A solid place for Hawaiian BBQ. Fast casual style, massive portions, delicious food, and consistent quality. I have stopped in on many visits to the area and always look forward to it. I mich prefer it compared to its competitor in the area. I ordered the mini chicken teriyaki plate: the portion is still massive (see photo). The teriyaki sauce is not overly sweet, and love getting extra sauce on the side. The rice was fluffy and not bland or over/under cooked. My brother had the chicken katsu and it was perfectly crispy outside and still juicy on the inside. The katsu sauce was delicious. I like that there was an option for either a garden salad or a mac salad. I chose the garden salad, but their Mac salad is decent. We shared an order of the fried gyoza- they were so juicy and the dipping sauce was the perfect mix of soy and vinegar. A tip: pick up a spam musubi or two. You won’t be sorry!

Went to try LoLo Hawaiian BBQ today in Draper. I was very disappointed at my meal. I was hoping arriving near opening time would have a better chance on fresher food from a chain restaurant. I ordered the 2 meat plate and got the teriyaki chicken and kalua pork with rice and a side of mac. The chicken was just bbq grilled chicken with teriyaki sauce on top. The kalua pork was really dry. The mac salad was very bland. They gave me to small sides of katsu sauce which didn't really help save any of the meats. Next, I tried the spam musubi. How does one mess up spam musubi? The spam was so dried out like they cooked it before time and was left out for a day. Sure, they have some teriyaki sauce on the block of rice, but dried spam just ruined it. Maybe I'll try another location and see if another location does better. #thisishowichow @lolohawaiianbbq #teriyakichicken #kaluapork #spammusubi #macsalad

We have been to LoLo Hawaiian BBQ twice. We are from out of town, but we go there when we visit. FOOD PORTIONS: Both visits, we've ordered the "family meal for 4". WOW! I think they are talking about 4 very large Hawaiian adults. Both times, the amount of food has fed my family of 5 TWICE, which is great! We eat at the restaurant, and have tasty leftovers for another meal. For reference, with that order, we get 8 large scoops of rice, 4 large scoops of macaroni salad, 4 large chicken thighs of each chicken type, and sauces. It is a LOT of food. FOOD TASTE: we've only had the Teriyaki Chicken and the Hawaiian BBQ chicken. Both taste delicious. They are similar, but the Teriyaki chicken comes pre-sliced and has the sauce on it. Our pre-teen and teenage kids and us parents all really loved the food. It is such a tasty combination of flavors! Just watch for some fat on the thighs, but most renders off. ATMOSPHERE: both times we've been to LoLo, the restaurant is nearly empty (we ate a bit early), so there has been plenty of seating. The tables were clean. The floors were cleans. The music was Hawaiian music to feel more authentic. The seats are comfortable. It is nothing fancy at all, but comfy and clean. We like it. We'll be back. Wish there was one in Texas!

Ordered to go and they had the food ready quickly. The pork was really fatty and not my favorite compared to other places but I liked the different types of chicken that we got. If you like Hawaiian food, I think you’ll find something here to make you happy.

Food is super yummy! My daughter has all the Hawaiian restaurants around ranked by their macaroni salad, and Lolo's is their favorite. I also like that they don't charge for sauces like some places do.

Can't say enough good things about LoLo! I have always loved their food but the other night, there was a mix up and we somehow ordered from the wrong store (Taylorsville) and didn't realize until we tried to pick up at Draper. They got on the phone with the other location and figured it out immediately and even though it was our fault and we were willing to go grab it from the other store, they wouldn't hear it. A gentleman from Taylorsville got in the car immediately and drove it all the way to our house in Draper. What incredible service! Stay amazing LoLo!

My family are Hawaiian barbecue fanatics and usually try new places whenever we have the chance. We had the Kalua pork, Katsu chicken, short ribs, macaroni salad, and rice. Everything was up to our standards and what we expected. Wouldn't say it's the best I've had but it is very satisfactory for fulfilling a Hawaiian barbecue desire. Portion sizes are also very generous.

I came here in December with my daughter and was so pleased with the food that I got an order to go for my husband. Came back again this evening for date night and the food is still good as ever! My husband says it's the closest fish to fresh caught
