Ordered 3 rolled tacos rice and beans and this is what i got. Brown guacamole with very little cotija cheese, no flavor. I ordered 3 orders and this was the best looking ones of the 3. Very disappointing. This is my first time ever leaving a review for any restaurant.
This is our go-to spot. We LOVE Lolita. The staff is very nice, and the food...is so very good. The Carne Asia fries are amazing. Every item I have had including the salad with its amazing dressing has been delicious.
Horrible service. Also, when you order online they charge your card and then the order doesn’t get received by the store. So you have to have a pending charge on your card until that drops off. The employees told me that happens to a lot of people and then proceeded to tell me it was a problem with my bank. They are ridiculous. When I asked the manager for an explanation I got no apology, just nothing but disrespect. They feel that people should think it’s normal to be charged for food that you don’t receive and then just trust the fact that you’re going to get your money back at some point. Worst Lolita’s ever, the food is good, but it is subpar compared to other locations. The manager that I spoke to was absolutely rude and not very bright.
Super disappointed in the food and customer service this morning. I used to go here all the time growing up. Hadn't been here in years. my my how ther place has really went downhill. me and my son walked in this morning. I guess we were early. we were told they weren't serving for another 3 minutes until they opened. So we asked if we sit down and wait for them to open the gal at the front counter. Told me to ask her boss, her boss said no worries. Then someone walked in not 15 seconds after we sat down and then began to take her order. we got steak and egg breakfast burritos. They were so bland, not a pinch of salt or pepper on the meat or eggs.definitely wouldn't eat here again.
Tonight I ordered 1 Bean & Cheese Burrito, 1 Chile Relleno Burrito, Super Rolled Tacos & Regular Drink at 6:32 pm. Patiently waited until 6:55 p.m., then went to the counter to ask about my order, they asked the kitchen staff & they said they didn't have it. The ticket had fallen from the kitchen printer back onto the counter where they put telephone orders. They tried to play it off & the manager asked them make it next. I did not get my order until 7:05 p.m. The worst part was the food wasn't hot and the register girl & manager couldn't have cared less, not even bothering to at least apologize for the inconvenience it caused.
I ordered my food to go over the phone like few minutes and I picked up my food not knowing that they're going to mess up my order. I asked no sour cream and no pico de gallo on my large carne asada fries since my son and I are allergic to it. When we got home my son open the order and we both saw sour cream. Obviously we can't eat our dinner. Not happy.
Wasted my time, money and bad food.
First time customer. I called in a phone order, came at the instructed time. The food wasn’t ready so I paid left a very respectful tip and sat down by the register. We sat in the restaurant for over 30 minutes waiting never being called for our order. Finally got up to ask about it. I waited again at the counter for another 5 minutes for a personal conversation between employees to finish up before I finally was acknowledged. I asked about my order and the guy said oh yeah it’s ready. I asked how long has it been waiting and the girl he was talking to chimed in and said a while. I asked why no one called me and he said “I don’t know.” Food was soggy and cold and I didn’t get my added guacamole. This experience sucked.
Lolita’s is a Chula Vista favorite for 40 years! They’ve been in business since 1984. While service hasn’t always been consistent at all the stores, this morning, I was thoroughly impressed. The two young ladies who were working the front counter set the bar for service excellence.
They gave us a warm Sunday morning “after church” welcome. Took our order and thanked us. Who thanks you anymore for patronizing their business. During down time es, between customers, these young ladies kept busy, prepping utensils and cleaning around the area. I’m talking wiping walls, pulling out benches and sweeping underneath. They checked on the bathroom frequently. I am impressed!
We enjoyed our Deluxe Burrito and Carne Asada, Eggs and Cheese Burrito. Oh so tasty and not salty like other places. Visit Lolita’s in Sunbow today!

The food was delicious, with good sized portions, very colorful atmosphere, and incredibly friendly employees. Went with my young daughter and she had a fun time. Great family atmosphere.

This is my second favorite place in the South Bay to get quick Mexican Food. Everything I've ever tried here has been delicious and generous in size. It used to be a Sarita's but when they went back to Casa De Oro it was taken over and renamed Sarias
It was definitely a different style of mexican cuisine I was not accustomed to. Very delicious. Service was excellent, very attentive, despite a minor language barrier on my part.
We will definitely return.
