Lolita's Mexican Cantina - Mexican restaurant in Westwood - 65 Old Hook Rd, USA

Never knew this place existed until today. I highly recommend the fiesta platter so that you can try a little bit of everything. My favorite was the mini shrimp tostadas and the chicken flautas. The elote corn was also amazing. Service was great. Whenever I requested to change the channel on the TV, the bartender happily complied so that my wife and I could watch the Chiefs game. I will be returning for sure. Great experience with chill atmosphere.

The vibe was good, and super loud. I am a chef and work for the food industry. Compared with the food and the quality, they are overpriced. The small margarita was super sweet and watery, but it was over $25. Little guacamole was $14. Taco salad was not tasty and the steak was awful. Also, the servers kept coming to take away my food even though I was still working on it. Also no lime for fajitas so I asked them some lime, they ignored first and I asked one more time and they literally gave us small two pieces. Also, I asked to take out my leftover foods ( taco salad and bean and rice. They just took out them and threw them away. What the heck...

When you approach slow down for this nice date spot in Westwood. Nice entrance and aesthetics throughout set the mood. Food was a bit tasteless to be truthful and we had to talk to staff about topping our drinks off especially considering the prices. However, very Gram/Glam worthy spot to impress friends or date. Tiny kids menu.

Cute little joint, standard for the area. The cocktails and service were fantastic. Unfortunately their sangria is not very good. I ordered the fried fish tacos which were also somewhat disappointing, pretty bland. However, I tried my friend's shrimp and chicken dishes and they were great. The seasoned corn they offer as a side was also immaculate. I want to give 4 stars but I can't forgive the sangria. Would go back for the cute bar.

Everything was amazing staff was informative and very quick. The place had amazing food, music selection, and drinks. Get ready to spend a little more than if drinks because you won't get enough of their selection. Only thing it was a bit too dark inside hard to read the menu but I understand the ambiance they are going for. Would definitely recommend to anyone.

Just moved to the area and feel relieved to have such amazing Mexican place so close! We have been 3 times already and it’s become our go-to spot in a very short time. Food is always delicious, and service is quick, attentive, polite and friendly. Our waitress Renee couldn’t have been nicer! Make sure you stop here if you are in the area.

Excellent food and phenomenal service. Shrimp tostada's were flavorful. Loved the guacamole - nice hint of spice. The elote Mexican corn was good. My hibiscus margarita was tasty, but light on the alcohol. Group also enjoyed the steak, burritos, and fajitas. Atmosphere was packed, hard to converse with others, and our table of six was next to the servers entrance to kitchen. Very noisy and distracting. Overall, great food!

Parking was tough to come by. I don’t normally mind as this means it’s a popular spot.. Huge quantity, free chips and salsa- they paid attention to every detail including branded paper in the chips. I’d say at the bar, service was slow— to be expected, though. They’re making drinks for everyone. Not much check in about the order (like you get from a waiter). I regretted ordering the guacamole, since chips&salsa was free. The alcohol in the margarita must be really low quality I felt tipsy 1 in- which is good for most people but I prefer a smoother drink. Tacos were good for the price, but not the best (I am a critic though as I am from Texas). Over all, good spot to stop in and good vibes, but not a spot I’d frequent.
