Loggerhead Inn & Suites - Hotel in Surf City - 622 N New River Dr, USA

We had a wonderful stay for an overnight visit in January. The motel is really cute and rooms are decorated in a relaxing beachy style. The room was spotless with a great layout. Easy parking and short walk to public access beach entrance. Great communication and easy check in/out helped make the weekend so peaceful and fun. There is a sports bar next door with great food and short drive to many other stops. We will definitely be back and may bring our dogs to one of the pet friendly rooms.

My stay was for work but I enjoyed the quiet and proximity to the beach. Everything at Loggerhead Inn was beautifully done and super clean! The rooms are spacious with comfortable beds and all the amenities you would expect. Loggerhead is a jewel! In these days of high rises and huge resorts it is wonderful to experience how travel used to be. I absolutely recommend.

We snagged the last room and were very happy we did. While the room was a little bit small, it was very cozy and very clean. The bed and pillows were so comfortable. We loved that it was only (barely) a blocks walk to public access beach. Lots of (roomy) parking. Great (smoking) sitting area courtyard and conveniently located to many restaurants. Only thing I didn't really like was the keyless entry. While I understand the convenience of it, I had a hard time getting it to work. HIGHLY recommend and we would definitely stay there again!

Love this place a lot! We got the 2 bedroom king suite and it was very clean and has everything you need in it. Great restaurants nearby and the room we had, you could see the beach. Beautiful views and very close to the beach. Also a very easy process

We stayed at this amazing property Loggerhead Inn and Suites while in Surf City, NC. The check in/check out process were seamless and easy. The staff was incredibly helpful. The beach is a minute from the property and worth an early wake up to see the sunrise. The beds were the most comfortable beds I ever slept on a hotel. They had bikes available first come/first serve for riding around town. They had a pool complete with pool toys. Beach chairs to borrow and souvenir beach towels for purchase. The laundry facilities are included free of charge. We brought the dogs and they enjoyed morning walks on the beach and hosing off in the outdoor showers. They have hair dryers and irons to borrow. Definitely worth going back for another stay! Check them out if looking for a perfect beach destination…you won’t be sorry!

Just what we needed! Our company hosted a large event, "The Contest of Champions." in October. With out-of-state guests from three states, we were in need of multiple accommodations. Loggerhead Inn & Suites made this process very smooth for us. Our guests mentioned beautiful and relaxing rooms. Thank you for helping make our event a success!

28th wedding anniversary! So happy to have stumbled across the Loggerhead Inn! We stayed in a pet friendly standard room and it was perfect! Clean and wonderful! The gals in the front office were friendly and accommodating. I read reviews of guests complaining about the sound of the toilet, however this is an historical property and they do inform you that it has a "grinder" due to having to modernize the sewer system. I found the jet engine sound charming...Just made sure I didn't flush at 2am! :) the beach is literally 2 seconds across the street. 3 days was not enough! We will be back!

Positives: Great location in proximity to the beach, nice pool area, clean and modern rooms. Negatives: We could hear every sound and words from room above us and didn’t get much sleep. Also, the road noise didn’t help. Our biggest disappointment would be coming home with all of our stuff smelling like cigarette smoke, when we don’t smoke and the rooms are non smoking. They do a good job of covering up the smell, because we didn’t smell it there. The smoke must be imbedded in the furniture we put our luggage on or something.
