Many problems. This was our 3rd visit so obviously we had enjoyed it before. We arrived on Christmas Day for a 5 day stay. We had been informed that no one would be in the office that day so no problem. We were unable to start the gas fireplace that day, not much thought of it. The pool was low and dirty, hot tub was almost empty. It was Christmas and family was arriving so we were not overly concerned. The next day the remaining family arrived and we did our family gift exchange and enjoyed each other.|The following morning, I went to the office to let them know of our problems and was met with a very defensive person. I was not at all upset, just wanted to make sure they knew. She seemed angry that I had not told her earlier but we were busy with our family.||Issues were: We had about 20 degree variance in the temperature between upstairs and downstairs and impossible to regulate. The hot tub and pool were not functional. There are 2 jacuzzi bathtubs but neither was operational. The toilet seat was broken. There were nails sticking up on the transition between one bedroom and the bathroom. The carpets were absolutely filthy and gross. There is no hand soap in the house. There was evidence of a previous leak in one bathroom.||Positives:|Space was ample for our family. Kitchen is well equipped and refrigerator, oven, dishwasher, microwave and coffee maker worked. The place was cleaned prior to our arrival.||After informing the the management about the problems, they sent someone that changed out toilet seat and hammered nails in the floor so no one steps on them anymore. Nothing else was resolved or addressed for the remainder of the trip, no one followed up on any other issues. We were told the hot tub would be operational for our last day but it was not. They did issue a small credit, less than 1/2 of 1 day's rate.||The accommodations were disappointing|to say the least. Unfortunately, this will probably be our last family trip to Log Country Cove.||Rooms: 2/5 | Service: 1/5 | Location: 4/5

We had the most wonderful vacation at Log Country Cove! We stayed at Manda Shae (the duplex). The cabin was gorgeous and had everything we needed. It was right by an inlet of the lake with big oak trees shading the front. My daughter (4) loved the hammock. The only minor complaint I had was the stove burners were crooked, and 1 didn't work. Also the pans were rather scratched up. But really, there was so much provided for our comfort that that didn't affect how amazing our stay was. Also, the amenities were so great! I thought we'd have to rent a kayak, but they're right on the beach for you to use at any time of the day. We got to try paddle boarding, too, which was so fun. My daughter loved the water trampoline and mini golf. We had such a fun, relaxing time that we hope to come back in the spring. It was so affordable for all it is, too! Highly recommend!

I am giving it a 2 for the log cabin Maegan Breann. The service as far as the company was fine and the outside is beautiful. The log cabin was atrocious. Like living in a cave. Downstairs is poorly set up. if you sit on chairs in so called eating area, you stare fridge 4 feet away. The couches are ripping, drapes upstairs are tearing, nothing matches for plates bowls and utensils. Toaster does not work. Have to pull up on bathroom door to lock. Made for only 2 people 20 yrs old that like baths and bed. You never want to spend time in cabin. One person at a time in kitchen. A place where you are going to eat out every meal. Frying pans needs to be replaced. Bring own toilet paper and Kleenex and toaster. Hardly any plug ins. One in kitchen . So you need extension cords. Walk in, you are 4 feet from couch and 5 feet to sinks from couch. You can go to the bathroom and wash dishes at the same time. We were to stay 7 nights, left after 4. Money isn't everything. Pictures they used are deceptive. In my life I have never wanted to get home from a vacation. Not this time. Have traveled since I was 17 and never stayed in a place this bad. I am sorry to write such a bad review. I have stayed a log country cove before and really enjoyed it. It was a different cabin I stayed at with husband.

We had our wedding at Cedar Skies and many of our guests stayed in the cabins at Log Country Cove with us. We had the best time hanging out with everyone all weekend long.

It is a beautiful place, I went for a work retreat and the place is cozy, with amazing views, and all the things you need to cook. Also free water activities equipment and friendly staff

This place was AMAZING! Great place for the entire family, or just couples! Tons of things to do on the property that you won’t want to leave to go anywhere. The privacy around each cabin is perfect. The cabins are like home away from home and all you need is clothes and groceries.The owner, she is just super sweet and I could sit and talk to her for hours. This was the perfect little getaway I needed, peaceful hidden gem I never knew existed. I HIGHLY recommend and can’t wait til I come back this summer!!

Great place We all loved the cabin, the kids all loved the playground and mini golf area. We brought fishing gear with plans to fish but everyone was having so much fun doing everything else we never even got the poles out of the truck. Exploring around the property both on foot and by golf cart was great too.

This place is absolutely amazing! We went for Memorial Day weekend as a mini vacation. We stayed at the Steen cabin. Site is right next to the water. Cabin was clean when we arrived. Lady at the front desk was very sweet and willing to answer an questions. You get all non-motorized items rent free. All other with motors are decently priced, (I.e pontoons, jet skis etc.) not too far from town but far enough to get away from the city. Was really quiet here even with it being a holiday. Definitely will come back for another stay!
