NICE AND CLEAN ! AND THE LADY THAT RENTED ME THE ROOM, SHE WAS REALLY NICE AND HELPFUL !
I guess you get what you pay for. The rooms are super cheap but they also aren't the greatest rooms. Some have bed bugs and some don't. Some smell bad and some don't. Some look like a garbage dump and some don't. Alot of addicts frequent this place too so make sure you lock the doors to your vehicle. The lady who rents the rooms out though is super nice.
safe and pretty clean. what I expected. food was good, everyone was friendly, sheets were soft, bathroom was clean. room smelled stale and smoky but window opened and the AC got really cold really quick.
A very nice place to lay your head down for a couple of days
Clean, drug free, rooms. Polite service from the owner and cleaners. The owner did his best to accommodate us with a weekly room at a fair price. Nightly was the only room rates they had for our first week which is $50&change but as soon as he had a weekly room open he switched us for the $190.40 price. Instead of paying $50 nightly now we are paying around $27. Every room they have swapped us into has been clean, bug free, and smelled good. We have had no issues with finding any drug paraphernalia and am thankful for that. I do believe this new owner is cleaning the place up a bit. Newly remodeled rooms as well. Will definitely continue staying here. And will surely come back if need be.
Rooms are being remodeled. I was there for over a month and the weekly rate is cheaper than paying monthly rent for an apartment. Room included a microwave, dorm size refrigerator with separate freezer section, hot plate, and a small kitchen island with a sink. Not to mention the room had a newer Roku flat screen TV connected to the WiFi with just about every premium online streaming option and didn't need a personal account to access it. The current owner has it already set up so you just watch whatever you want. Housekeeping is very polite and does a wonderful job. I was floored when I seen all of this, cause I had stayed there about 15 years ago and it was horrible and had none of the stuff I have mentioned. Even has a upstairs laundry room for the guests to use whenever they need to. Thank you so very much for a wonderful stay. I'm thinking about returning and asking about a monthly tenancy if at all possible.
I love this place ❤ The staff and owners are polite and professional. Ive been here 1.5 years in #35 looking to purchase property to build a home. They treat me like family ( the good kind 🤣 ) Candy, Tammy, Donna, and Vanessa are awesome ⭐ . It is a rough neighborhood but they do there best to keep out the troublemakers. The room prices and the food + drink prices at the LC club are excellent ... C.P.
For anyone wanting a review of the motel listen to mine. I have been staying at the motel for about 5 months now. Owners are two of the nicest people you will ever meet. My room is good, my ac/heat work perfect. Cable and wifi work great. I've only had two small maintenance issues while staying here and they were fixed the next day. Comfy bed, and with all the travellers that come through you get to meet some interesting people. The bar next door has good food and their drink prices are great. The maids are great and come every day. I don't see what more one could ask for. I recommend it to anyone looking for a place to stay short term or long term.
This is a little slice of southern heaven. Just save room for the bread pudding dessert, because you will want to eat it all. The special dessert was bananas foster bread pudding. Large enough for at least two and spectacular! Jambalaya was top n
What a cool experience! We were greeted as soon as we entered the restaurant and asked if we had been there before. She lead us through the whole process and was so kind and knowledgeable. The salads are HUGE and everything was delicious. Probably th
Hometown favorite and I make it a point to visit here at least once every time I come home to Parkersburg. This establishment is a cornerstone of our community and Iâve been coming here since I was a kid. Iâm just glad I can share this piece of m
We started our trip here with a picnic lunch. Beautiful views of the Ohio & Little Kanawha Rivers along with Belpre, OH and downtown Parkersburg, WV. Historic Fort with canons and paved walkways to go down. Got a glimpse of the Island Belle sternw
We pulled in after a long day of driving and were promptly welcomed and accommodated. The front desk clerk offered to store my ebike (we leave the battery in the car) on the first floor so I didn't have to drag it up and down to our room - and I norm
Das Rookhas never disappoints me! They have the most delicious food there, mostly subs but they also offer party trays, catering, deviled eggs and more. I go here often but would go more often if I had the money
