Such a great stop here at the Log Cabin Family Resturant! This place was packed but there service is always top notch no matter how many people there are. The kitchen is always whipping up delicious food at a rapid pace!!! Highly recommend stopping here. Almond Joy Pie of the month for the WIN! (Don't sleep on the coconut shrimp, it is a dark horse menu item!)
Stayed in the Wisconsin Dells at a local campground and was looking for a good home-cooked meal. Found the log cabin family restaurant and all of the reviews said, try the pie. Now knowing my husband and I, and knowing that we are always too full for dessert after eating, when the waitress came around, I ordered a piece of pie first. Both the waitress and my husband were shocked and laughed. But I got my pie first along with an appetizer. I had a shaved rib sandwich with the fries and they were both incredible. My husband had a special of the day which included a couple different barbecue selections, all were very delicious. I would recommend the log cabin family restaurant to anyone coming through the area! And if you want my opinion, order a piece of pie first!
We went there on the way out of the Dells in an extended family of 22 with three generations, multiple age groups. We were seated in three large comfortable booths. The kids loved the lemonade, several of them loved the Reese’s peanut butter cup pancake, the huge cinnamon rolls were to die for, the atmosphere was definitely fun with a log cabin feel! The blueberry muffin was huge! I left with a to-go box because the portions were so large! Hoping for a chance to return!
Driving between Madison and the Twin Cities. Needed either a late breakfast or early lunch. We made a good choice.
Food was tasty. Service was excellent. Nice homey log cabin atmosphere.
Only bummer is we were too full to have some of the delicious looking pies.
Really great food, very quick and friendly service. Madison was a great server! Roast Turkey, mashed potatoes, stuffing, green beans and gravy! Started with homemade chicken noodle soup!
This is always a go-to spot for my family if we are even remotely close. The food is excellent, the servers are great, and the prices are reasonable for the portion sizes. And the pie...oh the pie! So good. I didn't have room today but let me tell you that you will find something on the pie list for all tastes. I got the country fried steak and eggs. What is missing from the pic below is my toast but you can see...the portions are good sized. Everything was delicious. (And...you can even sub out your side for a slice of pie!!!)
Great food and a short wait to be seated. Everything our group ordered.was good.
A must stop whenever we are in town! The cinnamon roll is to die for, and everything they serve is fresh and homestyle! Such a classic place with good foods! Highly recommended!

Lovely B & B. We enjoyed the room. It was lovely, large, with a king bed. Bathroom was nice. The home is gorgeous, with lots of lovely antiques, and wonderful architectural details.
