Update to the update: Since the new property manager Seth has joined I've seen significant improvement in the laundry situation. I know they are working with the vendor to make sure the cleaning improves and is on a regular schedule. Seth has been great at updating on the progress. Update: The only negative I've experienced while here is the shared laundry mat in the 195 Binney St building could use some cleaning much more often. Many of the washing machines have a hint of mildew smell, which makes me believe it's been quite some time since they've been cleaned and/or updated. I've lived here for about 3 months and have really enjoyed it! Anyone who appreciates industrial interior looks will love the look of the loft apartments. I get lots of compliments from any visitors. Keep in mind with the tall ceilings and windows there are practical considerations such as appropriate curtains and lighting, but if you're willing to make the investment it can make for a beautiful place. I've found the management and maintenance team to be very helpful and prompt in their responses. Geoff, the community manager, has been especially helpful and answers all my questions. The lofts also have nice amenities like the gyms, and I can't wait to use the rooftop deck once the weather gets warmer! Finally, it is in an ideal location. It is close to the Kendall redline station, near restaurants, and right next to a beautiful park with a dog run. I've loved it here.

Jan 2024 update - The management team contacted us and offered a transfer to another unit in the building with transfer fee waived. Leasing office manager Seth has been extremely helpful and responsive during the entire process. ———————————— I’ve been a resident of this building for three years (we switched into bigger units twice) with the last year being notably disappointing. A key issue was the introduction of a retail space adjacent to my unit. This was done without any prior notification during my lease signing or at any point before the construction began. The construction process itself has been a constant source of disruption, characterized by loud noises, including drilling as early as 7 AM. Despite numerous complaints, the management’s efforts to provide advanced noise alerts have been inconsistent, with a failure rate of about 80%. My attempts to resolve this through email have resulted only in apologies, without any form of compensation. Based on my experience, especially in the past year, I would recommend exploring other living options in the area.

I absolutely love living here! My apartment is gorgeous. I receive many compliments from my visitors. The staff are all very nice and are always willing to go above and beyond for their residents. I really appreciate all the wonderful amenities and the community building events they have. Super grateful for the perks too (we get some really nice gifts). They really do treat us so well. It almost feels like extended family and I just want to say thank you!

Ive been at the Loft's for a couple of years and have enjoyed living here throughout. My previous apartment was across the street, which is also managed by Equity, and had a good experience there as well, but really have found the Loft's staff and amenities to be fantastic. The property is unique and the apartment is modernized and well kept. Recently there have been upgrades to the common areas, gym and laundry facilities... the common areas are welcoming with very thought out design.

Interesting, one-of-a-kind building with a welcoming + helpful management team. After looking in Boston and Cambridge, we fell in love with the Lofts at Kendall Square. Our leasing agent, Cole, was immensely patient and accommodating during our search process. He listened to our needs and was a true partner in helping us find our home--indulging my many questions and proactively sharing updates on specific units we were interested in. Overall, an immensely enjoyable and seamless process!

My family and I love living here! Our apartment is beautiful with high ceilings. There is a beautiful rooftop at one of the buildings, a large laundry facility, two gyms, grills and outdoor seating, dog washing station and the lobby is beautifully decorated/styled. The staff go above and beyond here, and we’ve always felt well taken care of. This complex is in a perfect location (close to MIT, grocery stores, coffee shops, playgrounds, and restaurants). We feel so lucky that we get to call this wonderful place home!

Also, it doesn't hurt that the apartments are beautifully constructed, are centrally located in a great part of Cambridge, and that as a tenant, you have access to a rooftop deck and their fitness center.
