LOFT18 Houston - Sports bar in Houston - 2313 Edwards St Suite #200, USA

We came here for an event. They had buffet of salad, pulled pork sandwiches, pasta, mashed potatoes, and chips with cheese and salsa. The place had lots of entertainment: virtual games (not just golf - football, soccer, darts, carnival games), shuffleboard, and pool tables. They have Jenga blocks on the tables of the front porch. The zombie dodgeball game was tiring because the zombies refused to die! The staff was friendly and helpful on showing us how the virtual games work. We’ll definitely come back.

I will not be going back. I was there a few weeks ago with very slow service. The Detroit Lions group is known to be there on Sundays so maybe have more staff? Fast forward to today, I got there over an hour early to get a table. The hostess was not at the desk so I took a table that was not marked reserved. Halfway through the game we are informed the table is reserved and we can't sit there anymore. I hadn't finished eating. I still had my drink that I had only taken like 2 sips of. It was ridiculous, the table was not marked as reserved like other tables were! I will never go back. It was definitely not worth how much my bill was when I left.

Food is actually good but it took 15+ minutes to get beers. Watching football here is a great option!

Overall it’s fun place if I excludes my drinks. Food is decent but the drinks are horrible. Mojito feels just water and lime. I booked my spot via group on and I was 10 min late due to downtown Traffic. Instead of 1 hour which was booked she only Allows us to play for 50 min even though the bar was almost empty as it was a weekday. Good thing virtual golf and other games are food and feels bored after an hour. They do have 2 snooker pool table.

If I could give a zero I would. We came an hour before a game to get a table. Then half way through the game the manager Austin came up and told us that this table was reserved. There was no sign marking it reserved, then told us we had to leave the because someone got on line and reserved it. I cannot believe a business is run like that. The place was packed with people so there was no where for us to go except to stand. So we left. Be careful if you come here halfway through your meal you might be the next lucky one to get kicked out. Service was SLOW but the waitstaff was really trying they were just way understaffed. I guess at least we didn’t have to wait an hour to get our check since the manager was there to kick us off the table we had been at (just like everyone else in the restaurant that came early to get a table) for 2 hrs.

Paid about $400. One of the worst service experiences I’ve ever had. Reserved a bay for 2 hours. Games were fun, but that’s where the good part ends. Service was abysmal. We arrived on time for our reservation (8pm) and the bar was PACKED. No host or hostess to greet us and seat us. We just kind of stared at each other and tried to flag down the bartender for 15 minutes until someone finally came to get us. She sat us and took our orders. We immediately ordered several drinks and sides. Nothing came out for 40 minutes and even then, drinks were missing and food was cold. We asked for new (hot) sides, those also came out cold. We gave up on getting hot apps. After ordering our mains and waiting another 45 minutes, we were missing drinks and several food items that weren’t ours came out to us and had to be waved away. One of our burgers tasted off and we didn’t eat it, and didn’t ask for a replacement as we were afraid it would take another 45 minutes. As late as they were with everything else, they sure managed to bum rush us out of the bay on time. You know you’re going to have a rush on a football night, so hire more staff.

When my date and I arrived at Loft18 I was excited. It changed soon as I walked through the doors. No one was at the door to greet us, we had to ask the bartender about our reservations. Just for the host to be sitting at the bar. Our waitress customer service was awful. It didn’t look like she wanted to be at work. Doing our game, our waitress was changed and she was much better. She actually made my mood change, I wish I would have got her name. After we paid I asked her for the manager, she showed me who he was. Just for him to be the host that was sitting at the bar when we walked looking for help. So I told her not to worry about it because the problem wouldn’t get fix. I did appreciate her kind service. When the service is trash it takes away from your tip, I worked in the industry before so I’m a great tipper. Treat people the way you want to be treated. When we don’t tip, we get label.

If y'all don't know, now y'all do. Austin and the Loft18 crew did it. Service, food and venue were excellent. I scheduled bay time and actually have been here with no bay time (just to eat/drink). Both experiences were wonderful. Great space. Clean. For real the staff is so kind. Great spot for parties or if you just want to come and chill solo. Y'all sleepin on Loft18!! Cmon H-town!!!
