Local Bar & Grille - Bar & grill in Wood Dale - 396 W Irving Park Rd, USA

The food was generally good. I enjoyed the pizza the most and the popcorn cauliflower the least. Surprisingly, we ordered two fried dishes for our apps and they came out in completely different consistencies. I would recommend this place for the bar and social atmosphere as the food is fine. Not the largest vegetarian menu, as you’d expect from this type of location.

Everything we tried was delightful! The burgers were perfect and the service was incredible! They handled our large group with ease!

Came in on a rainy afternoon. Service was great. I rarely order a salad when I go out, but I have to say this was really good. Pretzel and French onion soup was also tasty. The other apps and food we ordered was very tasty. We will absolutely be back to keep trying out items off the menu. There seems to be a lot of good food here! Remodel looks great, can't wait to come when the weather is a little nicer and enjoy the outside fresh air!

Stopped in a couple of times for a quick bloody mary. Chill atmosphere. greeted with a smile, and asked if I wanted to see a menu. This is how all bartenders should be. Servers are on point. Huge menu, food is fantastic. Had appetizer dinner today, and OMG was the bomb. Chicken tenders juicy, cheese sticks fat, steak quesadilla delicious

We ordered the Bone in wings and tried 3 different sauces. Mango Habanero, Honey Siracha, & Honey BBQ. We also had the Bang Bang Shrimp and Fries. Everything was fresh, crispy and delicious. Out of all the food places we tried during our Chicago trip, the local bar was top 2 (even though it’s located outside of Chicago in Wood Dale). We’ll definitely return if we go back.

I visited this establishment as they had just opened. Top notch food. Bonus points for food presentation. Relaxing and friendly atmosphere as well as staff. Plenty of parking. Very clean. Daily promotions and no doubt, packed on weekends.

We used to come to this business when it was crossroads. Local Bar and Grille has done a great job updating the restaurant And the food is actually good! When you walk in you do have to be seated by a host. All staff did have on mask, tables were sat apart, and the bar has the clear plexiglass or guard barriers to separate customers. Good place to grab some food, catch a game or just for a few drinks. They have their own private parking lot. Staff was friendly. One thing I really appreciate is that they had heineken zero. The portion of The side order of fries is actually a pretty big basket. Plenty of seating!

09/04/2021 My Husband & I stopped for a quick bite. We sat at the bar and had the best service by the bartender! The food as always was delicious! My husband had the Reuben sandwich with tater tots and I had the Crispy Buttermilk Chicken sandwich with tater tots. So happy this place is here! Sorry no pics this trip. 08/21/2021 My Husband & I went for our anniversary. The food was delicious! I had the Smoke n Burn burger with tater tots and my hubby had the Local Burger. Service was good. 08/18/2021 Z waited on my friend and I on the outside patio. It wasn't busy when we got there, but was crowded when we left. The food was delicious! My friend had the a pasta dish and I had the steak tacos. Z was a fantastic server!
