Lobos Lodge - Lodge in Carmel-By-The-Sea - Ocean Ave, USA

We have stayed here many times over the last 20 + years, and enjoy the warmth and homeyness. The staff is very friendly, and the location is our favorite in town. We like opening the windows for a cool ocean breeze, and also the coziness of the fireplace. We got a King Suite this time, and the bed was very comfortable and the sheets very crisp. They bring a continental breakfast each morning, which is simple, but a nice offering to accompany your coffee or tea (made in-room).|Tip: The iconic "Carmel Beach" is a short (steep) walk from the hotel. Be prepared to climb that hill back up, but it is well worth the trip!

Just like 7 years ago, the Lobos Lodge is beautiful, serene, clean, in a perfect location and has great staff. If you go to Carmel (and you definitely should), stay at the Lobos Lodge. The rooms are tastefully done and give off a beachy cottage-y vibe while still being elegant. We completely enjoyed our stay! Room 14 was so spacious!

Couldn’t be happier with this accommodation ! We stayed in a large room with our two little kids (2 & 4 yo) and I was a little nervous because it a smaller property with what I was assuming to be less services but their team made us so comfortable the whole time. They fit in an extra cleaning per our request which was such a game change. They even bring a cute breakfast tray w fruit and yogurt and a flower in the morning!

First time going to Carmel and we chose this hotel based on a recommendation. I’m so happy we chose Lobos Lodge. I couldn’t have asked for a better location with minutes from the beach and shops. Room was super clean and spacious. Mark the front desk attendant was so nice, and very knowledgeable. My only complaint was the bed was super hard and not very comfortable. Next time we go we will bring a mattress topper.

We love Lobos Lodge. Back for the 7th year, same room every year. My wife had stayed here a year or so before our first stay.||Great location, very comfortable room, great staff, continental breakfast. . .A very short walk down the hill to the ocean. A majestic view.||Will be back next year.

The employees are very courteous/helpful, the rooms are quiet,/clean/comfortable, with very comfortable beds and the fireplace is refreshing! Continental breakfast is very good and nutritious,||the location in Carmel is second to none: close to the Beach and all Downtown shopping and dining!

Fault less this was our second time visiting we were again very impressed they even gave us the room we had back ten years ago. The room rates are top-end but worth every penny Big and spacious Queen beds sofa bed lovely chair's big TV huge walk in wardrobe huge bathroom views to the sea... breathtaking all areas very very clean outside space lovely very much like a boutique hotel...staff were exceptional Complementary coffee biscuits and pastries lovely delivered breakfast continental to our room .. just amazing Without a doubt, we will visit again highly recommend if you want to be near to beach and restaurants perfect location and yet so quiet. If I had to say anything at all it would be when changing rooms prioritize existing customers first it wasn't a problem at all the staff were very apologetic which makes all the difference. Thank you for our wonderful stay.

This is our getaway from all the daily madness life brings. Just a couple blocks from the beach and everything you might need for a long weekend just walking distance away. Check-in is in the afternoon. All the rooms we have stayed in were clean, inviting, and ready for us. Our favorite rooms to stay in are the ones with the balcony facing the street. The rooms are quiet, roomy and cozy , all with a fireplace. Our visits to Carmel are usually in Feb./Mar so there is usually still a chill in the air. Management is always professional, welcoming and helpful. I highly recommend this place! A bit pricey, but definitely worth it!!!
