Really good food, the chips and queso was the best I’ve had in a long time. Sourdough buns on the burgers were nice. Careful if you get boneless wings, they basically come out as chicken tenders.
Load Off Fanny's is a culinary haven! 🍔 The burgers are a symphony of flavors, 🍟 the fries are crispy perfection, and the queso is a true masterpiece. 🧀 The beer on tap and ale selection caters to every taste, 🍺 enhancing the already lovely atmosphere. 🌟 The staff's warmth and efficiency elevate the dining experience, and the live music adds the perfect soundtrack to a memorable evening. 🎶 Highly recommend for a delightful feast for the senses!
I really thought I was going to like this place. They have a huge pride flag indicating this is a safe place. My server was quick to take my order TO GO and bring my drink. She’s on her own so that’s great there. There were two tables when I came in. However it’s been well over 30 minutes and still no food. I ordered a hot dog and a burger to go. Ideally I should have been able to get my food and eat in that time. Of course, I’ve already paid so I can’t get up and leave. When I asked, I was told that orders had come in before me. Well the 6 top has eaten and are just hanging out. No other food has come out of the kitchen. Okay now to the food. My mom ordered a Fanny’s Original Burger with sweet potato chips. The burger was huge but very good. The chips were great. I ordered a loaded dog. It was interesting but tasty. The bacon was ground (?) in small bits and the dog split and grilled. I loved the food. But it was an order to go and quite messy to eat. No napkins or plastic ware was offered. Trying to find a knife and a fork in the rehab home was difficult. Dining in… seems like a good place unless you’re in a hurry. Dining out… avoid unless you’re going to your house.
Great beer and cider selection. Lots of taps featuring local/Texas breweries! And I love that there are so many vegetarian and vegan options here. The owners are super friendly and cool, and the service is awesome! Will definitely be back.
Nice atmosphere. Great service and fabulous food. I had the Fanny's original burger, and loved it. Clean bathrooms. We will be coming back
If youre looking for a place for large, high quality wings this is it! we made the mistake of assuming they were a bit bigger than ones at pizza hut for example, but theyre like 4x the size! We ordered way too much but brought it all home and ate it later on, dont regret it one bit. Also the fries were really good as well along with the burger i ordered. Great food at a great price.
The menu focuses on burgers, dogs, and wings. I love the dogs. Large, split and flat grilled like I like. Their fries are skinny but larger than shoestring - good tasting fry. Good wing options. The back porch is fun with local music talent. They have different ciders and beers (tap, bottle, can). Off of the courtyard square so plenty of parking.
We took our 11 year old daughter for dinner and to see her guitar instructor who was performing. The live music with Jenny and the Jets was excellent and the outside venue is an awesome spot. It was fairly busy but the food came to the table pretty quickly. All the food had great flavor and the burger was honestly one of the best I have had. The service was very friendly and one of the employees even brought my wife a cooling towel to put around her neck because she noticed my wife was fanning herself in the July heat - such a kind thing to do. This was the first time we have been to Load off Fannys but it will definitely not be the last!
We loved this little bar! The bartender Reuben, was awesome! They had a good selection of beers, including craft beers. We were each able to find a beer we hadn't tried yet. They also had some good whisky's so had to end with an angel's envy!
I went to Commerce Cafe for a late afternoon cup of their wonderful coffee. I also ordered the popovers (when was the last time, if ever, that you've seen popovers on a restaurant menu?) They are wonderful, served with savory butter and shredded gruy
I absolutely loved this place! 5 stars all around. Will did a fabulous job making us feel welcome as well as offering suggestions. Our coffee cups never got less than half-empty. The food was AMAZING! I will be back for sure, and hopefully, it is on
Wow! Just wow! We've been to the Black's in Austin, and it was really good. But this one in Lockhart was just amazing! All we had was the brisket and the sausage and it was the best BBQ ever! Sorry for all the exclamation points. I usually think th
