We were a group of 4 ladies (3 in their 80’s and myself 71 years old). We could not have asked for a better place to stay for the money and all the space we had. It has 22 steps up to the Rob Roy Suite but so worth it. Even more worth it was the bountiful breakfast that Becky prepared for us each morning as her guests. DELICIOUS doesn’t even describe how great and tasty it was. Becky was wonderful to work with from start to finish. If we ever go back to the McGregor area you can bet we will stay at her place!

Second time staying at this sweet inn. Becky is an accommodating and gracious host. Her breakfast was delicious, too. It feels like home here, thanks Becky!

I have been coming here for 30 years. It wasn’t always owned by Becky and Randy but when they took over it changed for the better. Cleaner and the company and breakfast is absolutely wonderful! And I can’t forget their sweet, happy dog named Chuck (Aka Charlie Brown) He’s a good boy! The Little Switzerland is my home away from home. Becky and Randy truly are the best!

This was a unique and interesting stay. It is a rustic cabin that was built in the 1800’s (that was subsequently moved to town). You have to keep an open mind here - remember it’s a cabin - and just enjoy it for what it is. Late September it was a bit cool, but appreciated the space heater. Did not build a fire in the fireplace, but could have. Watch your head when you climb the stairs to bedtime. As other reviewers indicated, it could be a bit cleaner (for example the shower curtain was a little gross). But the owner Becky is very nice and accommodating, and makes a wonderful breakfast in the morning. We did 3 nights here, which was enough, but we did enjoy our stay. We spent most of the time out hiking so not a lot of time in the room, but overall a good time.

2 couples stayed 1 night in this cool, old cabin. We loved the living room sitting area, and also the lovely outdoor garden area with 4 big old log chairs. Becky made a fantastic breakfast with great coffee, a fresh fruit bowl, hashbrowns, egg casserole, sausage patties, and an apple french toast bake. Also milk, chocolate milk, and orange juice. Such a unique place and a very fun stay.

4 of us stayed here for 2 nights. we had the upper level which was great, 3 bedrooms plus kitchen and dining room and bathroom (like an apartment). Location was super, we could sit out on the balcony and watch city traffic and river traffic. Our hosts were very nice and served us a wonderful breakfast each day, very tasty. would definitely stay here again if in the area

A nice location in McGregor, however, it was not clean. There was dust and cobwebs in the living area, which could be overlooked. The bathroom, however, was disgusting. It was evident that it had not had a deep cleaning in months. There was hair in the shower left from the previous guest, and there was so much grime around and behind the toilet that it was clear it had not been cleaned all season.||||Due to the lack of cleanliness, we had serious reservations about eating breakfast there. So we ended up going to the local cafe, which was lovely.||||Overall, it seems like a missed opportunity. The in is very quaint and has a lot of character, but the upkeep is seriously lacking. Other than the diasappointing lodging, we had a very nice time in McGregor. The town is charming with many wonderful shops and nice places to eat.

We have been in MacGregor 3 times and just now tried this place! Good enough we ate lunch and dinner there on the same day. Brisket and nachos were wonderful. For dinner was broasted chicken and breaded shrimp which were equally fantastic. I have
