Little River Inn - Hotel in Little River - 7901 CA-1, USA

Very nice hotel. The view was spectacular. The golf course has a driving range. It has a very good golf course. The food is very good in the restaurant. Mendocino has a nice business district for restaurants in a could bakery. We visited the house used for Murder She Wrote it was nice to see it.

This is our (husband and I) 5th time at The Little River Inn and it never disappoints! Every time we stay in the Margaret Bullard room right on the cliff across the street from the main inn. The views from this room are unmatched. Best at the inn in my opinion because it’s so secluded. It even has its own hot tub which is amazing because you can sit and enjoy the secluded view while keeping warm. We are in love with this place and call it our special slice of heaven that we visit every year. The staff is all very nice and helpful. You can tell it’s family owned and operated :)

Beautiful cottage. Our own hot tub overlooking the ocean. Big field for our dog to play. Comfortable bed. Incredibly perfect weather. No fog. A zillion stars at night. Good food! Attentive service at the restaurant. What’s not to like! A great weekend escape.

Our room was luxurious, well maintained with a fabulous ocean view including a pet seagull on the balcony! The location of the inn near Mendocino and Van Damme State park was ideal. The restaurant had an innovative menu both for breakfast and dinner.|The staff at front desk and in the restaurant were friendly and accomodating.|We felt well cared for!|Marsha and David Berman

A great place to celebrate an anniversary. Loved the gas fireplace and private deck in our room (room 106). Great view of the ocean when there’s no fog. Fairly easy access to the beach. Restaurant on sight serving excellent food with large portions.

This is a review for the restaurant, we did not stay at the inn. Spectacular view? Check. Amazing food? Check. Friendly and prompt service? Check! If I had any complaint, it is that the service was so good and quick that we didn't get to linger as long as we might of liked. But we found the solution by ordering a nightcap from the bar and sitting at the tables on the front lawn to savor the sunset. The Brazilian seafood stew (moqueca) was the bomb, and my wife loved the curry vegetables. Be sure to get extra bread to soak up all the sauce. We don't normally do dessert, but in this case we got two. The berry cobbler was a hands down winner, though the hot fudge sundae wasn't too shabby. Destiny did a great job serving us, and bonus points for the martini made with local gin from Russell Henry! Despite so many great options in Mendo, we'll be back.

We were greeted so well on the phone making reservation. Excellent service in the restaurant and at the front office everybody was courteous and friendly. The food was delicious, especially having room service. I would highly recommend Little River Inn. The views were phenomenal.

Hubby and I needed an ocean getaway, so we packed a bag and headed across the state! We felt very lucky that Little River Inn happened to have a room available! Couldn’t be happier with the office staff!! Very accommodating and friendly! We loved our room, as we had a great view of the ocean and ocean waves lulled us to sleep! Very comfortable bed and pillows! We will be returning to stay and will bring our golf clubs next time!!
