Spectacular views. Good birding opportunities. Especially beautiful in fall. The falls can be very impressive especially after a big rain.
Little river, canyon, national preserve was well worth the visit! They got a great viewing area to see the waterfalls with good safety railings. You can take a trail to the right of this to go swim in the river above the falls, but be careful because there’s no lifeguard on duty and to go over the falls would most likely be fatal. The trail to the left is about a mile and a half round trip and it goes to the lower section of the canyon below the falls. It’s quite a hike and ends with about 136 stone steps down to the bottom of the river canyon.
What a gorgeous and underrated National Park unit. It's not a "National Park", but the canyon is just as spectacular. We were able to find a shady spot in one of the overlooks and had our picnic.
This is a very beautiful waterfall with different swimming holes to choose from. The most popular swimming hole is called “hippie hole” and is about a mile down from the big waterfall. Lots of adrenaline junkies go here to jump off of the cliffs. Lots of fun to be had here. Just be extremely careful if you go. Also avoid bringing alcohol, the game warden will write you a hefty citation if he catches you drinking around here. Be sure to take lots of pictures and help keep this area clean!!
Decent park, not a lot of hiking trails. Have been twice, this time the falls were dried up, but still nice.
Little River Canyon Parkway had pretty overlooks and plenty of pull offs for trailheads. Unfortunately, most of the pull offs and picnic areas were overgrown and not maintained much at all.
This place is absolutely beautiful. I definitely recommend if your ever in the area go take the time to check this place out...! I am so glad I did and I happened to run across this place by mistake honestly on my way to visit family. Lol
If I could live in the Canyon, I would build there! We wanted to stay ALL DAY. I have recommended this trip to several of my friends already. It's an outdoor lovers dream.
It was good place to visit with kids, but we traveled from Georgia to visit this place which is not worth it. Will be a great location for ppl living around or nearby that place, not worth traveling long hours to it.

We grew up going here. The cabins are wonderful. Not fancy, but very comfortable. The scenery is great! Itâs really lovely in the fall when the leaves are changing, but spring is wonderful as well. Blooms, green everywhere and lots of spring migrat
