The best hometown spot in Alabama!! The atmosphere and food are amazing. People inside of this place will welcome you regardless of where you are from and where you are going!! Had the Dill Pickle Wings and they are the best wings I have ever had in my life!! Full of flavor and are tender to fall off the bone.
Was driving back to Talladega from Chattanooga and took the scenic route and went thru Fort Payne. Came across this great little pub downtown across from city hall! So glad we did. Had two great burgers and had a choice of seasonings for our fries! The service was outstanding and the food was amazing. If we ever get back in the neighborhood we will def stop back again!
Passing through Fort Payne for the first time and found this spot. We are so glad we did! We sat at the bar where Theresa served us. Such kindness, humility and care with our order and getting to know us as first time customers. Our burgers were fantastic as were our cocktails. The kitchen staff did an excellent job with my particular order. Our experience felt thoughtful and authentic. We hope to pass through again!
Stopped in for what we hoped would be a quick lunch. First, the place itself is really cute. The servers could not have been nicer! They were busy but not insanely busy. My husband and I both ordered burgers with onion rings. Nothing fancy, nothing special. The kitchen is open so I could watch everything getting plated. I saw a young man back there moving at a snail's pace. I kept asking myself "do you want it fast or do you want it good"? Our burgers finally came and somehow, nothing was hot. I expected hot out of the fryer but the onion rings were barely warm. Everything was good, nothing was great. Except for the sweet girl who waited on us. This is just my honest review. Visit by all means but not if you're in a rush.
We're from Florida and this is the second time we have come to the Fort Payne area on our little mini vacations and purposely stopped here to have this delicious Burger. We always get the bacon burger Smashburger style and it is out of this world. The fries are delicious. And the volcano sauce beer is amazing.
First time here , friendly staff, old school with a blend of new school . The bartender( Kendra- I think) suggested the chicken fingers as I was not too hungry but I wanted to eat because I got sent back out to the field for work issues! Loved the tenders and home made sauce hit the spot. They were perfect for me light not greasy at all and juicy with that special home sauce. Great town of old America making a comeback is really, really encouraging for Fort Payne AL. Family place to for kids too, a few TVs for Football/ Sports... apparently live music at times too. I heard the burgers are yummy too with a decent variety of burgers too ! The bartender was sweet, polite and you can tell her parents raised her right. I'll be back soon ! I'm happy it's close to my new Cabin in the mountains!
Music was great but too loud to carry on a conversation without yelling. I got the smash burger and onion rings. It was wonderful. The burger was seasoned good and is the best burger I have had in a long time. The onion rings were fresh not frozen. Service was great. Price was very good.
This place is an absolute gem! The food was great and tasty, you have to try the seasoned fries! They weee very accommodating for me and my dog. They have a patio and welcomed us warmly and brought ice water (hot day) for my dog without me asking. The staff were super friendly and welcoming.

This was a unique experience. The cabin felt as authentic as could be for a modern day upgrade. I absolutely loved staying here. Itâs a bit of a drive to do anything touristy but certainly doable. Lots of outdoor activities near by. The cabin
We grew up going here. The cabins are wonderful. Not fancy, but very comfortable. The scenery is great! Itâs really lovely in the fall when the leaves are changing, but spring is wonderful as well. Blooms, green everywhere and lots of spring migrat
