This is a lovely conservation area to explore. We visited in late fall so there weren't any flowers or much foliage, but even then we saw beautiful scenery, and we will be sure to return another time.
The parking lots allow quick access to the lake and trails. There are a few picnic tables for eating lunch. The only drawback on the day we visited was a guy in a pickup truck playing loud music and smoking weed that smelled up the place. We moved to a different table, and then went walking, so we got away from the nuisance for most of the time.
Great place quite peaceful lake. Covered fishing dock, hiking trails and boat ramp with a good amount of parking.
I recently tackled a hike of just over three miles on this trail. The route is primarily through a charming wooded area, with a delightful section that runs alongside the lake. On the practical side, there are two parking lots available for your convenience. One thing to note, during late summer and early fall, the trail is adorned with beautiful wildflowers, which is truly a sight to behold. However, it's worth mentioning that there are two concrete port-a-potties along the way, although I must admit, they were not as well-kept as one would hope.
A beautiful little lake close to town. Perfect for a little family fishing/picnic.
Hi, you'll like it!..... Thank you.... " Department of Conservation"..... for managing this property... appreciate that, thank you
Took my 13 yr old son fishing and also brought his bike to ride around. Had a great time even though the fish weren’t biting at all. The trail was mowed nicely and the place was clean. No trash even in parking lot. Even with several vehicles there it was not crowded and was very peaceful. It’s a great place to take the family and just relax.
Neat little area. Looks like you can take your boat here and fish. I went for a walk along one of the cut paths. There are two parking lots for this place - the one google maps brings you to doesn't have much around it, so I suggest going to the other one.
Great place to catch bluegill and bass catfish beautiful lake with easy flat hiking trails for the family wonderful place to have picnics and they have some built-in BBQ pits around the area
Great park with pavilion and picnic tables, baseballâ¾ diamond, ð court, tennis court, playground and a terrific old ð train beautifully restored.
This place continues to get better with time. Was here years ago I'm thinking 2014 maybe 2018 and it continues to improve and stay with the times. It has big beds and is for men and women. Bailey assisted me today and was able to find my information
This rather new RV park was conveniently located near the interstate and offered spacious pull through and back in sites. We stopped for one night on our way to Texas. It was cold night down into the high 20âs and we needed a FHU site to keep our
This is literally my favortie place to go during the summer. I come here at least 3 times a week with my friends or family. Definitely recommend! There are many flavors, I have never gotten one that I didn't like. The prices are reasonable and worth
Absolutely adorable (and DELICIOUS) authentic ice cream and soda shop in downtown Rolla! They have delicious (rotating) flavors, incredible sundaes, and traditional floats, phosphates, and sodas. My younger kids love the candy shop section including
I moved to Missouri 5 1/2 years ago. There is so much to see and experience. The history here is amazing. I live next to the Mark Twain National Forrest. I love the fact that there are so many cave systems here. The waterways are amazing. Ge
Bray is a great little area to get out and enjoy nature. It's only a few minutes out of Rolla. It has a bedrock bottom creek that is fun to walk through during the hot summer days. One will find a icy cold spring flowing into the creek and an old tun
