Extremely friendly staff and owners. Motel is very affordable, and the rooms are extremely spacious. There is a pub at motel, the drinks are affordable and the food is excellent. Would highly recommend to anyone passing through.
For the Northwoods, this place is pretty cool. Quaintly decorated, and inexpensive - a decent value for your money. The owners are improving it more and more every year. A recently added bar has excellent food. Even the gluten free pizza was outstanding.
My friends and I were assaulted and threatened here. The motel owner was extremely rude and unhelpful and grabbed my arm. He was clearly only interested in protecting his business.
While staying here for a business retreat we were accosted by several local drunks from the bar inside the motel. They were looking for a fight and threatened to kill us. The owner Mark was not helpful at all and was clearly only interested in protecting his business and the regulars in his bar.||The night before the same people were knocking on our doors at night and threatening people. When Mark was told about these incidents he refused to kick out the offending patrons. Do not stay here.
Stopped in Friday evening checking on room availability, booked solid. Owner was nice enough to call another up the road, no luck there but recommended a place in Crandon and got a room that suited me well. Had a delicious beer and thanks for being so nice.
The motel's recently opened Trailhead Pub and Grill is a warm and inviting atmosphere. The owners, Mark and Julia treat you like family. Try Mark's muddled Old Fashion or their homemade pizza if you go!
The bar is a friendly, great price with great owners to help you enjoy your experience. Even if it's today open just to have you enjoy yourself. Definitely will be going back.
The owners and their dog are very friendly. The rooms are spacious with everything you basically need to cook your own meals. The rooms have satellite tv and roku. Wi-Fi was excellent. My family found the room very comfortable and was great for our reason to be in the area. There is fishing behind the resort within walking distance. We caught perch and bluegills.
