This place is one of the best places i’ve been to in awhile. When you first walk in, the interior design is so beautiful and unique. the wine is very delicious along with the food. the food was top quality and for a reasonable price! check out this place if you are in white plains!
We sat at the bar, not knowing it was happy hour, we ended up ordering drinks and a few appetizers from this menu and a couple other dishes from the dinner menu. The watermelon margarita was very refreshing and on the light side maybe a bit more tequila would have made it perfect. Some of the apps included the patatas bravas, the croquettes and the cauliflower ajillo, all of those were delicious, we also ordered the chicken tikka masala and this dish was wonderful, bold flavors, perfect portion, and just tasty. The ambiance was very hip and relaxed, the bartender was attentive and nice. Overall a good experience, we would definitely go back !
Should have known better when entering and no one was there, but my first choice had an hour wait. Ordered huevos rancheros. It was an odd rendition of the classic. Coffee was even terrible. Thankfully the waitress was pleasant.
Cute decorations, went there for lunch, had been warned service was slow, however I felt the service was attentive and the food didn’t take as long as I expected. Overall there’s a large variety of dishes including American, Indian, Mediterranean and a combination of what seemed to be a mix of Spanish, Latin and Mexican cuisines. We ordered calamari as a starter an although the outside was crunchy I found the inside to be a bit chewy. For the main dishes we ordered the Salmon and the Tulum chicken kabab with rice and guac. Overall our main dishes were tasty and well cooked, the vibe was relaxed during lunch time. Will try this restaurant again.
What a wonderful surprise this restaurant was, the atmosphere was a very cozy and intimate. A definite date night spot. The food was an eclectic variety, influenced by Indian, Latin and American flavors. The prices were on the higher end, cash and credit are both accepted. There is metered street parking and near by are municipal parking lots. Bathroom are available for patrons.12/2022
First time here. I am always hesitant about "fusion" cuisine places, although I don't think I'd consider this place "fusion", per say. I'd say it's more a place that couldn't decide whether to be a Mexican or Indian food restaurant and so they thought they could master both. I had my doubts and they were confirmed. Although, to be honest, I didn't try any Mexican food so I can't speak to that But, what I can speak to is the Indian food I had. I started out expressing my concerns about a restaurant that doesn't focus on one cuisine to our server outright and he assured me everything was "delicious". It was not. We ordered the lamb vindaloo with the basmati rice and the rice was hard/undercooked and the lamb was dry & tough. The paratha that came with the dish was good. We had the samosas which were very good. I'd say the best thing we tasted. The Nan bread wasn't as flavourful or fluffy as other nan breads we've had and we missed the array of sauces, (tamarind, chutney, raita, etc.), that usually comes with nan bread at authentic Indian restaurants. We told our server, (who was pleasant enough), about the issues with the lamb vindaloo and rice and although he said he would inform the kitchen and he asked us if we wanted something else, (we did not), he didn't go a step further to allay our dissatisfaction. At the very least, he could've/should've either removed the charge for the unsatisfactory dish or given us a some sort of discount. He didn't even bother to take away my plate while we sat there waiting for our bill. He didn't come once during our meal to check if everything was fine. He didn't come to our table until the very end and the place wasn't busy at all since it was just about 5pm when we were there. At the bottom of the receipt, there is a contact person who you can send a text to about your experience. I did just that and she replied she was sick and would follow-up the next day. That was four days ago as of this post and I've yet to hear back from her. In hindsight, since it was "taco Tuesday", maybe we should've gone with Mexican food, but, regardless, if you offer any cuisine and especially more than one, you'd better be sure everything is authentic.
Love the atmosphere but food was below/average at best. Fries soft not crispy, empenada, samosa and mini sliders okay. Chocolate labva cake was dry cake( no soft or liquid middle) with a glaze on top.
We were having a pleasant lunch today as the food was pretty good, but we were turned off by the cockroach that was crawling on the booth type seat right where my husband was sitting. If there is one roach, chances are there are more. Definitely will not be returning after seeing that.
