Great place for a picnic. The sound of the river makes it very relaxing. The river current took away my precious sandals which are never to be seen again!
I've been traveling through Minturn, CO off and on for a couple of decades. I'm not exactly sure how long this park has existed. I just discovered it July 2020. It's well appointed and maintained. With easy access to the Eagle river it provided for a delightful sunset outing.
This park was the perfect place to stop and let our toddler get some energy out before getting back on the road to Denver. Beautiful safe area to play near the running water. Great spot for photos too.

We went and saw the Go Pro games and after they had live music. It was a fun place to be and h had a nice time, would recommend.
Clean and beside a river. Plenty of playground equipment. Picnic tables and grills. Stage for local bands to jam.

Stopped here for dinner after hiking and highly recommend. Ordered ribs and they were great. Attentive and friendly staff. I was told by the young server behind the bar I wasn't allowed to leave until ribs were finished and I happily complied.
A friend shared about this place so we stopped on a Monday at 6pm. Got right in and had an excellent dinner of grill-your-own-steaks, Texas toast, salad bar and potato dessert! Fun-casual atmosphere so no need for a collared shirt ð
I didn't see this spot on the I-70 food sign but it should be up there. The food was good and plentiful. The service was quick and answered all of our questions. Definitely some place I will stop at again on my way through!
