Little Anita's New Mexican Foods - Southwestern restaurant (US) in Denver - 1550 S Colorado Blvd, USA

This place has the amazing combo of good quality, cheap Mexican food. Even the taco shells taste homemade with love. The atmosphere is a mix of chill sit-down restaurant with a low pressure coffee shop vibes (perfect for a quick bite) Soon to be my favorite Mexican place in the area!

First time there, with a regular, and I was overwhelmed by choices. The employees at the register were calm, understanding, and super helpful. The food was amazing. I'm usually hesitant to order chicken enchiladas because the chicken is tasteless. That was certainly not the case here.

It's been a while since I have gone to Little Anita's. I was sad they no longer had stacked enchiladas, which is New Mexico style. Their beans are delicious, and I liked that they added chips to scoop them up. I judge a Mexican restaurant by their rice and beans. Their rice... not so much. Too al dente, and no flavor. The green chile over my tamale was very good. I was impressed with the amount of ground beef in my taco until I took a bite. No seasoning, including salt. It was a beautiful looking Taco, just no flavor. Also a pre-made shell, no bueno. I will give it another try, if only for the beans and chile.

I live a couple blocks away from Little Anita's and I don't go there anymore. It should be my go-to place for Mexican food, but the food just never leaves any memorable impression with me. This forces me to ask myself: "Should I spend $22.00 on dinner here or somewhere else?" I choose somewhere else. For my money, Little Anita's is neither good nor bad, it's just there.

I hadn't been to Little Anita's in a few years but stopped in the other night and had such a great meal. I love New Mexican food and it's hard to find in the area and this doesn't disappoint. Was also happy to see they still bring out a hot and fresh sopapilla when you're dining in.

So good, thought we were in New Mexico!! That's how authentic it was. The girls had great customer service traits!! If you go you won't be disappointed!!

Little Anita's has good food and amazing sopapillas! I like chicken or ground beef enchiladas Christmas style - red and green chilies. They have some vegetarian options for my friend too. The decor and environment isn't special, it is all about tasty food here. I am good with that!

I was disappointed with the food. The red chili tasted metallic like it came out of a can, the green chili on the Indian burger was bland, the posole was days old, evident by the homony breaking and the chili in it was poor. Even the sopapillas tasted old. I heard such good things about this place but nothing tasted good. Very disappointing, the service was fast though.
