Lithia Springs Resort - Oregon's Mineral Waters Retreat - Featured Reviews (703)
My husband and I took a long relaxing weekend away after our daughter’s wedding the weekend before, plus we had Shakespeare tickets to Much Ado About Nothing. I came upon this place while looking for a B&B and sure glad I did! What an amazing experience! Everyone was so kind, from everyone at the check-in desk, to the housekeeping staff, to the breakfast staff, to Hope at the Wine Garden Tasting Room. We would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend it to anyone coming to the Ashland area. Thank you for a treat well-deserved!
Wonderful stay at Lithia Springs. The room was clean and the resort grounds were beautiful. Afternoon tea and a great AM breakfast. Loved the wine bar, which was open late afternoon and wine was available by the glass or bottle. We will plan a longer trip next time!
Lovely spot just outside Ashland downtown proper (not walking distance) with gardens and a salt water pool. Rooms are well accented, with lots of closet space and good TV, and water pressure. Nice touch with cookies and scones for afternoon tea. One can take a mineral bath in the room, and indeed all the water (showers and taps) have a mineral taste (and mild smell). Bottled water is provided. Breakfast was fairly routine but nice. Plenty of parking available.
This is probably a 3 star facility, but they make it better than that. Rooms are just beyond basic, but immaculate with all needs met. Hot springs water only available with in room tubs, but the sulfur smell while present is not overwhelming. Hot tub outside is regular water but a good one. Grounds are peaceful and beautiful. Breakfast is good, more on healthy side, great coffee and service. All staff were kind and helpful. Main lodge is great.|Highly recommend
I've stayed at the Lithia Springs Resort several times, and always enjoyed being there. In the past, I was there with my husband, and we stayed in one of the King Hillside suites. They were always excellent. This time I was alone, and was given Rm. 11, in the back corner of the Resort. The view out both windows was of fence. The suite itself was quite comfortable, with the exception of the shower. The shower was quite small. The shower head was mounted at a height that would be comfortable for someone well over 6' tall. I'm 5'4", so the spray, when pointed as low as possible, hit me in the upper chest. The spray, which was not adjustable, was so strong that it was akin to standing in a hail storm, even when I reduced the flow. Showering was painful. The service at the Resort is always excellent, as are the breakfasts and afternoon tea. The grounds are truly wonderful, with beautiful flowering plants everywhere and numerous, peaceful seating areas. The pool and hot tub are great. I'm sure I'll stay at the Resort again in the future, but I'll definitely avoid Rm. 11.
The bed was so big and comfy, pillows were a big improvement over other hotels, heating and cooling along with fans made for a great nights sleep. Staff were super helpful and gave a perfect restaurant recommendation. The natural springs smell was in the air but very quickly I didn’t smell it anymore. Cute cabins were more than ample and were well maintained although the private patio wasn’t that private and could have used some grooming, it didn’t matter because it was still too cold to sit outside. Included breakfast was real food with fluffy scrambled eggs and ham in a beautiful setting. They even have a bar!
The room was amazing, all the employees were super nice and the tea service was lovely. One thing I was super disappointed in was that we had called around 10am to ask for early check in but they didn't even try to accommodate that, our room was cleaned at the very last we saw the cleaning lady when she was done as we were on the property at 3pm already. Second the pool and hot tub were filled with dead bugs, way too many to think it was a few days worth the pool needs a pool cleaning robot or something desperately. This isn't my first time on this property and I feel that spending $300 a night for our suite just wasn't worth it this time around. Breakfast service was very good, above average and the most redeeming thing about our experience here. Adding an extra star because of those ladies.
Lithia Springs Resort is GORGEOUS! It's interesting because it doesn't look like much from the road, but walking onto the grounds is like entering another world. We visited in mid-spring and it was absolutely beautiful with all the flowers coming into bloom. There is a pool and a hot tub onsite, and our room had a huge soaking tub and separate shower, both with the mineral springs water. Us adults found the mineral water soaks to be a lovely experience, kids could not get past the sulphur smell! It's not a kid centric place, but my kids loved splashing around in the pool, walking the trails, and visiting the koi pond. I also enjoyed a fantastic cocktail at the intimate onsite bar. It was a perfect weekend getaway for our family!
