Very nice park, well maintained. Occasional rude teen hanging out but overall very luttle-friendly. Not sure why they have lifeguards at the pools though, they are never paying attention. The park could definitely use more picnic tables too.

The pool area is perfect for older kids and the playground is great for the smaller ones.. plenty of shade and for picnicing.. great family park.
This is a very nice city park. The park area has tons of shade, a nice playground, a wading pool basketball courts and picnic tables.
The lodge is the nicest in the city and has been recently updated with a new floor and lights. It's popular though, so be sure to reserve a year in advance (to the day).

Great park with fun equipment. Lots of shade throughout the day so you don't have to worry about sunburn or the equipment getting hot. Has a shallow baby pool usually open during the summer (currently closed due to Covid-19). A great place for kids!
30yrs ago I played at that park with my siblings and cousins..
I forgot how this place can be a winner for gatherings for so many occasions. It can hold a lot of people with plenty of space to move around and showcase what you bring. Easy to drive to off of route 8 and parking was ok. It is in neighborhood park but has it's own enclosed bathrooms and kitchenette inside with plenty of windows. Wheelchair accessible too.
