We were looking for some good Cajun food and this overall fit the bill. Out of everything the Boudin Balls were spectacular and would be something that we would order double of on the next visit. Now for the Coleslaw it would be something I would skip next time, I didn’t care for it at all. Great service and a nice small clean dining room.
Never thought I'll find a cajun restaurant in Oklahoma! As I'm from Louisiana, I definitely enjoyed the flavor that made me feel as if I was back home. I had the boudin balls as an appetizer and the fish and shrimp platter for my entree. For dessert, I had bread pudding that was phenomenal. The staff was very welcoming and constantly stopping by to check on me! If you’re in the area, make sure you make a stop! You won't regret it!
Ii was my 1st time to try them out and I wasn't disappointed. They were very busy, so I let 3 guys share my table. I had the catfish and shrimp with seasoned fries, it was very good cooking y'all.
We heard about this place by word of mouth. I pasted it by for years. Never knew it would bring such great memories of my Louisiana home flooding back with the great taste of food off their menu. Food is wonderful, staff friendly, and attentive. Clean inside and out. Maddie, was our server full of knowledge. I can't wait to visit at your New location, (the old Katfish Kitchen). Food was great. My partner is from Louisiana and I lived there for eight years and we were not disappointed. Their boils have great flavor, perfect lip burn, and not salty! Boudin balls were pretty close to Billy's. I hope they add boudin roll ups!! Great surprise for my birthday!
Great food, good drinks, great service. Local, specialty and seasonal LA beer. Moving to a larger location soon (old catfish kitchen place). YALL want authentic CAJUN, dis is the place!
I did not have the experience that their rating promised. Everything was spread out on a cookie sheet so arrived at room temperature except the butter which was cold enough to be thick.
Glad to have Cajun food on the menu for Tahlequah! This place is amazing! Locally owned and operated, with great service and super friendly staff. Food is spot on every time! Wonderful flavors that will leave you wanting more...in a come back SOON kind of way. Portions are large, you will definitely get full! They have a cute/ nice little seating area outside.
