Links at Chaffee Crossing BBQ & Catering - Barbecue restaurant in Fort Smith - 11707 Custer Blvd, USA

So, my family and I decided to stop in and try The Links at Chaffee Crossing today, partially because we wanted to try something new, but also because we had heard a lot of people’s raving about it as the best barbecue in the River Valley Area on the River Valley Foodies page. After trying it ourselves, though I was cautiously optimistic initially, I must say that it’s a total contender for best barbecue in the River Valley, for sure! Both the cook and the waitress were very friendly, even though they seemed a bit understaffed (and our food still came VERY fast, in spite of it!). And even more importantly, all of our dishes we ordered were great! Even my son’s ”kids burger” that he ordered (pictured) reminded me of something more akin to Patrick’s Butcher Boy Burgers here in town (including the fries, which were hot, crisp, fresh, and deliciously seasoned!), but for that matter, the pulled pork on my wife’s nachos (also pictured) was some of the tenderest, most perfectly smoked, and just all-around melt-in-your-mouth pulled pork I’ve ever had! What else can I say about the food??? I thought my hot links (also pictured) were spot-on and super satisfying (and all of our dishes came at a GREAT price!), and the house barbecue sauces they provided (also pictured) were each distinctive and delicious in their own ways! All I can say is, if you haven’t tried this place yet, you owe it to yourself to give it a try! My family and I will be going back! They’re ripping themselves off for the quality of food and service they’re providing at this price point! 😋❤️

Our server Jackie was fantastic, and the food was even better. The brisket and pulled pork was tender, the potato salad was flavorful, and the barbecue sauce made in house was the perfect addition to any of the meats. They even make their smoked mac and cheese to order, ensuring it’s not just sitting under a heat lamp til someone’s ready to order it. All around a hidden gem of Fort Smith.

Wow! Pleasantly surprised! I was wishing we had a good BBQ in the area. In looking for a place to go for dinner, I found the Links at Chaffey Crossing. The BBQ was outstanding! I ordered a brisket plate with the 5 bean BBQ beans, and potato salad and TX toast, my wife the pulled pork plate, with slaw and fried okra. The restaurant is located on the Chaffey golf course but is very low key and nothing special at all. The "atmosphere" was lacking... they could have at least provided decent disposable silverware but the food more than made up for it.

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday then don't miss this stop. You don't even have to golf! I'd recommend three brisket tacos!

So I use DoorDash for EVERYTHING cause they go to Walgreens and EZmart, which is why they are winning right now cause W aiter and GrubHubAPP doesn't 🤔 so I love BBQ and NO NO NO Jerry Neel's is NOOOOOT the best bbq OR catfish in Fort Smith,don't listen to those proven lies, anyway I ordered the pulled chicken egg rolls &to my surprise they were a meal within themselves🤤the ribs were like butter&the flavor on them are award winning...I'm not a big fan of pototoe salad but who would've thought that bacon would make it sooooo much better, thank the chef for creating this fabolously amazing tasty potato salad 🥰💯🥰💯🥰

Good place for Q at the golf course in Fort Chaffee. Excellent pulled pork. The ribs are pretty good. Haven't tried the brisket yet. Off the beaten path and not very easy to find unless you know where you're going. Probably won't stumble upon it unless maybe you're out looking for an out of the way place to dump a body. 😳 It is, however, worth the search.
