Rooms are in good enough condition to stay comfortably. Their are no bedbugs, roaches, or rats which I'm my opinion is the most important determing factor about overall hotel quality. The housekeeping services are minimal. The housekeepers are few in numbers and keep to themselves for the mostly, so basic room needs are pretty much taken care of by your own self for the most part. Unless you ask someone that is. I just totally fine by me pretty much most other tenants it seems. This may be largely due to the fact that most of the tenants seem to be staying for a prolonged period of time. The biggest downfall all in all seems to simply be the location of the hotel itself. There's nothing nearby what's so ever. You would definitely need a car or some kind of transportation due to the fact that there is absolutely nothing in walking distance of the hotel.
Positive: Location was were it needed to be. It was a 20 minute walk to the rose bowl or 1 mile. And was a 20 minute walk to a grocery store, some food places and a cute coffee shop. It was adjacent to a really nice neighborhood. Negative: Smell of mold in the room. Mold on the shower certain and a slow draining tub. Bed covers had burn makers and pillow cases had what I assume were iron burn makers.
Positive: The room was clean. Negative: Front Desk guy was very rude,he asked for a $50 cash deposit I had $60 since he didn't have change he said "oh, well then I'll just take $60. Very unprofessional. Also there is no phone in the room. Negative: ""
Nice room, very friendly staff, and easy access to cleaning. Cute cafes nearby too!
UNWASHED SHEETS - HAIR AND MAKEUP ON THE PILLOW. BROKEN WINDOW. I booked this hotel at 8pm last night. They clearly didn't think someone was going to book a room after a certain time and didn't bother to clean anything. I arrived about an hour later and checked in with a gruff, rude man through a plastic screen.
The first room they gave me had CIGARETTE BURNS, DIRT, STAINS, and MAKEUP on the top sheet. Underneath, there was a HAIR placed neatly on the pillow. They clearly didn't have time or care to clean the room, so they pulled the top sheet back over the dirty sheet. The window was also stuck open and it was on the first floor.
I walked back to the window and asked the man if they'd cleaned the room. He sighed like he had gotten that complaint a lot or knew I was going to complain. He gave me deadpan look and said, "Ok - do you want a refund or another room?". It was 9pm in Pasadena and there were no other rooms. Even though I was disgusted, I asked to see another room.
He walked me to a second room and stood in the doorway. He watched as I pulled back the sheets to see a CLEARLY USED PILLOW with MAKEUP and an EYELASH smeared on top. The sheets were wrinkled and clearly used. Again, he had very clearly just pulled a sheet over the used sheets.
I pointed to the dirt on the pillow and he rolled his eyes at me. He he would give me a refund and I'm free to stay somewhere else. He walked away from me and left me in the room. I walked back to the window and asked if he gave me a refund. He said he contacted Agoda and refunded me. I told him that I didn't book through Agoda. He looked back on his computer and said okay I approved your refund.
I am a woman in my 20s and I was alone. The entire walkway was dark and it was just that man and another standing behind the counter. The hotel is on the side of a highway and I got a bit uncomfortable by the way the man was glaring at me. I left without fighting him anymore on it.
Do not stay here. Maybe they'll clean the room if they have time, maybe they won't.
For my plans - visiting JPL and some hiking - perfect. Taco Restaurant Home made nearby, access to bus system in front. A bit noisy freeway, but.
For me, this is a motel where you sleep after going to the Rose Bowl for a game or concert. For that, it works. Easy parking, and hopefully safe. I can think of no other reason to stay here. No frills, as expected. No restaurants or bars nearby. VERY noisy (freeway and I suspect maybe drug deals too). Rock hard mattress. Smells like smoke (cigarette, not the good kind). But the staff are effective (not friendly) and the room was clean. Seriously, if you just want a bed toilet shower near the Rose Bowl for the lowest possible price, this is it. Otherwise spend a bit more and stay in downtown Pasadena.
Positive: Nice decor and grounds of the property Negative: Off in the side streets of view
As far as the cheaper motels along East Colorado Boulevard go, this is the best one Iâve stayed at by far. My room was clean and incredibly spacious, especially the bathroom and shower. The space age vibe is genuinely cute. I absolutely got my mon

Owner/head instructor Justen Hamilton is an incredibly effective teacher and a gem of a human being. What a welcoming environment heâs created here at Modern Martial Arts.

My first time at Stretch Lab was great. Parking was easy (and validated!) in the underground structure off Fair Oaks. The space is very nice and my stretch with Nita was terrific. She was knowledgeable, professional and gave me a great stretch.
Wow! I randomly found this place and itâs fantastic. Definitely a hidden gem. Loved the asian fish and chips but unfortunately forgot to take a pic! Everything on the menu looked amazing and I will definitely be back to try something new.
