I’m not sure how this charming spot is rated anything under a 5 anyway here we go NANCY! Super accommodating and incredibly sweet - and my daughter remembered visiting with her school and loved staying here - LOCATION- amazing and within walking distance of some really beautiful trails and local business - FURNISHED? fully ! Snacks - juice - tea, coffee - bikes?! towels , linens and the pricing is just really insanely good I can’t knock a single thing … the question is who will be the first to use the brand new stainless steel French press in the kitchen ??? The challenge is on
Kudos to the volunteers of the Gahanna Historical Society for preserving and maintaining a piece of local history. My wife and I enjoyed having the entire cottage to ourselves during a recent two night stay. While enjoying all the comforts of home, it was more of a VRBO experience versus the traditional B&B, where a breakfast is prepared and served. |Water, juice and granola bars were available in the kitchen, as well as a Keurig for coffee. All four of the small bedrooms are on the second floor, with only one room with it’s own private bath. The access to the upstairs is via some rather steep and narrow stairs, so take your time traversing, especially with your suitcase.|We would like to extend a special thank you to Nancy for helping us with our reservations and for making sure we were comfortably settled in for the weekend.
What a beautiful house!! It was both like stepping back in time and at the same time, had all the modern conveniences of wifi and television. Would definitely recommend. More privacy than a hotel and could us the sitting room and dining room table for writing , projects, etc. The house was well stocked with snacks, water, juice, coffee, and tea. Loved that they recently added wine glasses when I asked when making reservations! House was warm, cozy and clean. Beds were exceptionally comfortable and towels were so soft! Great weekend!
What a fantastic BnB. The historic society restored this beautiful old house to be a lovely place to relax, cook, and hang out with family. I can't say enough great things about this place in this quiet corner of Gahanna. Can't wait to return.
This cozy bed and breakfast nestled in a quiet corner of Gahanna charmed me from the moment I stepped inside. The owners obviously care a great deal for this property, and while it maintains an old time charm, it has many amenities one would expect out of a modern home.
The air conditioning was a welcome respite from the heat, and the Wi-Fi was fast and easy to connect to.
The kitchen was stocked was plenty of drinks and snacks to enjoy, and everything was meticulously maintained around the house.
There are plenty of historical treasures dispersed throughout the house to give you a real sense of how old the property is, and the wooden floors and stairs added to the feeling that it was very steeped in history.
The owners went above and beyond to be accommodating to our changing travel plans, which we were definitely thankful for!
If you want to enjoy a quiet, clean, and comfy piece of history, look no further than Lily Stone Bed & Breakfast!
Lily Stone is fully owned and operated by the Gahanna Historical Society. It is undergoing some remodeling to freshen it up which is why I give it 4 stars at this time. It is open for business and taking reservations. Continental breakfast. Close walking distance to Creekside restaurants, downtown Gahanna and Friendship park. Great place to hold a wedding in the Gazebo, or put up family or when you want to rent a space so you don't have to clean your house for a baby or bridal shower. You can rent whole house, rooms, or the ground level.
Volunteer host was very friendly. A couple of small cleaning details. Well stocked with snacks, water, and juice. Great common areas. Excellent A/C.
I was so blessed to be able to get reservations at this lovely B&B over Christmas. Nancy was wonderful.
I met with Steve in March 2021 and knew pretty quickly I had found something that would work for me. I began working out with Steve 2 days a week and moved to 3 days a week after a few months. I love that every workout is different, but builds on
You MUST visit this place in late April, early May if you love Virginia Blue Bells. The paved, accessible trail around the creek is blanketed in these flowers. There are nice bathrooms on site. The trails are not long enough for hiking unless you wan
Great park! Hannah Park is a large park with many things to do. There is a basketball court, tennis courts, soccer fields, baseball diamond, community garden, playground, paved walking paths, 3 ponds for fishing and a shelter house. This park is ver
Edison Brewing Company has a wonderful location with nice facilities. The Peak space on the 4 th floor has expansive views over the airport and downtown Columbus. A great space for events of all types. Some smaller rooms if costume changes needed.
