We went back to celebrate our 43rd wedding anniversary, and we were not disappointed. I had BBQ Chicken Breasts, and my husband had a NY Strip Steak, and the meat was so tender! We both had baked potatoes and salad, and both of these things were very good and fresh. The bread was warm, and it's tempting to fill up on that before dinner!. Its an historical old-time supper club, but we love the atmosphere. It was a non-hurried dinner for us, and our waitress Jackie was very nice and was not intrusive during our dinner. It was Wednesday night, and we were seated immediately after arrival and waited on promptly. Great way to celebrate our anniversary. Love the Lighthouse!
We went to the lighthouse inn for a special occasion dinner. We ordered the prime rib and salmon. It ended up they were out of both. We didn’t know this until the waitress went back to the kitchen for 10 minutes. Ordered sides of baked potatoes and mashed potatoes… they were also out of both of them. The waitress told us we should have came in sooner. Mind you not we arrived at 7 pm. At the end of our dinner the waitress interrupted and asked if she could have our bill because she was trying to leave 10 minutes before close. Very disappointed in the lack of communication between kitchen and servers. Finally, How can you be out of baked potatoes??
Our first time there. Heard good reviews. We weren't extremely impressed. Steak knives need to be sharpened because they wouldn't even cut our Prime Rib. Some food had way too much seasoning, and some had none at all. The place is very clean and the servers were very nice.
A nostalgic dining experience offering an atmosphere from yesteryears. A Supper Club that requires no membership card to enjoy the food at its finest. Here, is an opportunity for those to step back to a time when quality takes precedence. The hours are limited so keep that in mind.
It's ok. It's an old school supper club. The food is edible, nothing amazing. The feel is kind of old, definitely needs some updating and remodeling. The pricing is average $20 a plate. Good drinks on the cheaper price point. Kud friendly. The 1st time, it was decent. Been there 3 times since only because my dad really likes it, and I don't want to go back. Much better places for the money.
Our server Jackie was awesome. We went to the Lighthouse Inn for our anniversary dinner, and it was a wonderful experience. It felt like a true multiple course meal without spending a fortune. Excellent value of food for the money spent. We will be sure to come back!
The ribs are always fantastic and large enough for leftovers the next day... If you can make it through the night not getting into them. Lol. Not a fan of how they do their salads now. So if ya don't like green peppers and such, might want to ask to not have certain things on/in it.
The way it's set up it's like going to grandma's house for dinner. It's a cozy quiet atmosphere and the people are friendly. It was a pleasant first experience. I can see why my aunt loves it.

Excellent hotel restaurant with a changing menu and something for everyone. Each month, you can try a tour around the world of a new country with a 4-course meal. This is arguably the best restaurant in town!
Loved brunch. Two food stations. One with an awesome friendly omelet chef and carving station and the other from fruit and salad to sausage, bacon and Mac and cheese everything in between. Great Sunday dining experience for a first date (wink).
The Midwest food is the key to this dining bonanza. We shared an Oil Spill appetizer which is their wedge French fries in a peppered brown gravy with potroast and cheese. Fantastic! Then split 6 sliders split burger, chicken sandwiches, and pulled po
My favorite healthy place to eat in Cedar Rapids - you canât go wrong with the no coast bowl or the chana masala. Tried the spring rolls for the first time this visit (sweet potato, red cabbage and micro greens) and recommend. High quality ingredi
