Lighthouse Beach - Beach in Bay Shore - , USA

We looked at each other and said “Wow! This really feels and seems exactly like the Hamptons!” Fire Island is gorgeous! This was our first time visiting together, and we loved the white sand beach, the beautiful ocean, the lighthouse view behind us, and of course, the beautiful dunes. Great little walk to the lighthouse and then back via the beach. Quiet in the mo th of Sept and early oct whe. The weather is still somewhat nice.

Love the beach! Quiet and gorgeous. Drove hours to the end of Fire Island, vacation mode😄

As posted in my pervious review, this section is perfect if you want a peaceful and secluded area. There were barely any people on the beach. Was able to sit right by the water! Clean! The water was a bit cold but nothing I couldn’t handle. No lifeguards so definitely go in at your own risk!

Spent the afternoon here with my GF and our puppy. It was a nice cool afternoon and very few people were around. Brought our chairs and some lunch and sat and watched the waves. It was an afternoon well spent.

Nice stroll from the #5 parking lot, peaceful and not crowded. Oh, and heads up seems it is get naked kinda beach.

Nice strawl at the beach, visit the lighthouse or go to the city nearby for a fish platter. Wort a day trip and only 1.5 hours away from NY.
