Life Alive in Lowell, Massachusetts has been a favorite for a long time. Has a great time recently with a friend and my baby who is under a year old. Food: Ordered the Swami Bowl with the addition of avocado and whipped sweet potato. This is my favorite bowl at Life Alive and I have no complaints. Consistent every time I go. I also ordered a ginger shot because I was feeling a bit sniffly and it did exactly what I wanted it to, I almost jumped out of my seat from the potency. Kid Friendlyness: First time visiting with my baby. They didnt have a ramp, so I couldnt bring my stroller (or at least not easily). I carried the baby in. They do have highchairs which was helpful because baby was eying the avocado in my Swami Bowl so easy to feed him. No changing table in the bathroom though there was a dresser type furniture piece that I could of used if I needed to.

One of my absolute “fav” restaurants that feature both delicious and nutritious food. My favorite warm bowl is their Swami… 💯it’s so flavor rich! Can’t go wrong with their dishes and they seem to have something for everyone. Try them out… you can thank me later! 😉

One of the best health food places around. However, I had to knock a star off because the staff is always very unprofessional and a little too comfortable in the environment. They’ve made mistakes before as well. Once I ordered to-go and they completely left off any seasoning so my food was tasteless. I tried to call but no one answered the phone multiple times in an row. I left a complaint online about my food and never heard back.

I have loved this place since it opened in little, downtown lowell! While it had changed since the original owner sold it, i appreciate that the food is still healthy AND delicious. I hope the corporate owners keep in mind that food and service are great, however the staff is more important than even the guests. The original owner made the hours worker friendly. I always admire and appreciate that. Now it's standard hours, which can lead to staff burnout. Food service is hard enough.

What a fabulous find! We loved the fun and casual environment, but even more we loved the food! Such fresh and flavorful dishes available here. So refreshing to find healthy alternatives.

The food was quick and delicious, the staff was friendly, and this place will definitely be my go-to when visiting the city again!

Don't come here if you're looking to get something quick on your lunch break. I used my entire break waiting for my food, and didn't have enough time to finish it. Also, I paid $23 for a green goddess bowl and matcha, and they didn't even fill the bowl all the way. The avocado was browning, the matcha was not mixed well, and again, I barely got any food. Not sure where all the excellent reviews are coming from. Maybe from people who don't care about spending so much and getting so little.

This is the place to go for modern comfort food! Don't get hung up on it being vegetarian. Don't try to figure out the incredible ingredient combinations. As long as the dish has something you like in it, then try it. Better yet, try two half dishes. Great flavors and good for you!
