5/5 Stars – Exceptional Stay at Lido Palms Resort and Spa
Our recent stay at Lido Palms Resort and Spa in Desert Hot Springs was nothing short of exceptional, perfectly accommodating our needs during a construction job in the area. Despite our late check-in around 8 PM due to work, the woman working the front desk went out of her way to ensure we had a smooth and welcoming arrival. This level of understanding and accommodation was greatly appreciated.
The room was immaculate, and every detail had been thought of, including the addition of an air mattress to comfortably fit our group of three. The front desk's thorough walk-through and explanations upon arrival added a personal and caring touch to our experience.
We especially enjoyed the resort's pools and hot tubs, which provided the perfect relaxation after our long workdays. The quiet and peaceful atmosphere of the resort was a standout feature, allowing us to unwind in a serene environment.
Located in Desert Hot Springs, the resort is slightly removed from Palm Springs but this never felt like a disadvantage. It offers a peaceful retreat while still being close enough to local attractions and sites.
A unique and charming aspect of our stay was the traditional keys for room access, complete with mini pool ball keychains corresponding to our room numbers – a delightful and memorable detail.
Lido Palms Resort and Spa is a beacon of cleanliness, hospitality, and tranquility. It was an ideal choice for our work-related stay, providing exceptional service and amenities. We highly recommend this resort to anyone seeking a comfortable and peaceful experience, whether for work or leisure.
Off the main tourist areas is this little Art Deco Oasis, with palm trees, comfortable rooms and divine mineral pools / jacuzzis. |The rooms all have kitchens and comfortable beds. |There are two saunas on site and a spa. |Grills and outdoor tables are available. |The friendly owners are always available to answer questions and make sure your stay is complete.|Note that this is a “Budget” option, meaning you get a lot for your money. |The rooms are not perfect, but more than adequate.
Ok, dudes. I am super picky. I bring my own sheets and cleaning supplies to hotels when I can. Listen, this was the CLEANEST place I have ever stayed. It was amazing! So comfortable because I didn't have to worry about anything. Nice comfy bed. Relaxing pool and salt baths. Beautiful terrace and landscaping. Great people and reasonable rates. I cannot recommend this place enough!
I won’t lie…. We were skeptical about this hotel especially as we continued to drive. Once we arrived and was greeted by Mrs. Janet the drive and experience was well worth it!!!!
Hidden gem for sure! The owner is friendly and accommodating, the rooms are spacious and VERY CLEAN our room came equipped with robes and spa towels. What blew my mind was the full kitchen access we had. Just bring food and prepare to have a relaxing time!
The pool has mineral water in it clean and warm! Hot tubs are not bragged enough in these reviews! There are 2 hot tubs one is located outside the other one is much bigger and located indoors - for a full spa experience. Definitely a peace of serenity goodness in this private resort!
If you’re looking for an escape from the world consider booking your next stay here. We are planning a return within the next few months.
From the moment we arrived, it was pure bliss. We arrived on a Friday afternoon so were surprised to have the pools to ourselves- which was lovely. The water temps are just right and oh so good. We followed the advice of others and packed supplies to be able to eat in, which was a really nice option to have. The oven and micro and fridge all worked well. We stayed two nights and did venture out for lunch the second day, but mostly we just relaxed in the healing waters. We also booked 90 minute massages with Blair- who was exceptionally good. We felt completely safe on the property and the room was spacious and beds were comfy. Loved that there are only 11 rooms here and no children allowed- made for a very restful weekend. Definitely will be coming back!
We have stayed at this resort for many years but this was the first time since covid and the new owners. We were pleased that the resort has been well maintained and that standards remain high. We have always felt that it is the best resort/spa in DHS. The three pools are certainly the best. The improvements have been structural such as re-lining the main pool. The rooms are pretty much the same with the exception of new temperpedic beds. The new owners were friendly and very attentive to our needs. Very clean. They do not have all the amenities of a four star resort, however, the pools can’t be beat and they have everything that we need. A hidden gem.
We loved our stay. Great rooms with plenty of space. Took advantage of pool, jacuzzi and sauna was a treat. Good staff. Nice comfy towels and beds. Everything we needed a full kitchen.
Definitely consider staying here - the staff were incredibly friendly and happy to help provide anything extra we needed -- the provide bathrobes, for instance, were incredibly soft and comfortable. They made sure our stay was relaxing from check in to check out - I would give Lido Palms more stars if I could! It was also very easy to schedule the spa services. Make sure to plan ahead 24 hours and arrange the services with the front desk. The specialists they have for massages and facials are very friendly and did amazing work.
The mineral baths are AMAZING. They're heated to a really good temperature, and there are two spas (one outdoor, one indoor), and one pool (3ft - 8ft deep). There's also a great sauna with accompanying shower space. The outdoor pools are surrounded by lovely views of palm trees.

Went for the day. A treatment comes with 2 hours of hot springs and sauna use - a great deal, overall, considering the quality. Quiet, kid-free, absolutely lovely. Next time I'm in Palm Springs I would gladly stay here!
Sensei Eddie Bates is amazing! He works really well with the kids and adults. He trains in different martial arts. I highly recommend this place.
Thank you Sensei for working hard with our son.
