Lido Motel lake George - Featured Reviews (115)
basic clean room with all the amenities that you need. where this place shines is the staff. the staff went out of there way to make my stay exactly what i needed. i thank them and would stay here again without a doubt!
Our family have stayed her for the past three years, in their two bedroom suits. the location to lake George village and restaurant is excellent. But the rooms needs some minor updates. The blinds in the living room, kitchen and one of the bedroom have not been changed in 3 years or more and they need to change the lock to a dead bolt. We always bring our door stopper with us when traveling.
Stayed at the Lido Motel just one night on a quick stopover. The rooms were clean and what seemed updated. Comfortable king bed and what I believe was a 50 inch smart tv. The bathrooms tho could use some updating for sure. Seemed to have a lil mold in the tub area and the bathroom ran for about 10 minutes after you flushed it. The hotel has a small outdoor pool which was not open in May. Grounds were in ruff shape I don't think they do much during the off season which May is for the Lake George area. The location is one block off the main street that all the shops and restaurants are on. Very convenient you can walk and never have to use your car. Price was much cheaper then other hotels and motels in the area. But for one maybe 2 nights it should do fine. I wouldn't plan a vacation for a few days or more there unless you are on a tight budget.
Distance to lake George village and restaurant is excellent. The rooms need some minor Maintenance. The blinds in living room and the bedrooms needs to be updated. A dead bolt lock Should be installed on the door. We have stayed her for the past 3 years and nothing has changed.
The motel has lots of potential, however, the following things should be tended to… The motel grounds were not maintained and the grass was long. The shower curtains have visible mold at the bottom. The room was not dusted prior to our arrival and it was visible around the TV and other areas. A dead bug flew out of the AC when we turned it on. There was gum smeared on the wall by the lamp. The pillows appear to be filled with rocks… They are very hard and uncomfortable. Also, the room (#2) we stayed in was below what seems to be the owner’s residence and we were awakened by what appeared to be them exercising at 7am, followed by loud music. Luckily we only spent one night. There is ample parking, Wi-Fi, smart TV and outdoor pool but not sure we would return unless we read about improvements in future reviews.
This is my very first time staying in a motel in the US, so I can only judge this based on the fact that we paid around $250 for the room. The outside area was rather nice, but unfortunately the pool was closed. Overall if you need to spend a night in the area this is fine, but I feel like you can get better for the same amount of money.
Went to ADK wine and food festival. Didn’t want to spend a ridiculous amount on a room and found this place online. Reviews were mixed. Booking was a breeze and the front desk person didn’t give me a heard time about changing the dates from Saturday to Monday to a Friday to Sunday. Walking in everything looked pretty good. My expectations were low. I just needed a place to crash after drinking all day! The stairs and decking that goes around the structure is wobbly! Boards are loose and made me nervous. Definitely not railings you want to lean on lol. From a first glance the room looked good, but once you get up close you realize all the work it needs. Bed was comfy and I slept well. AC unit is from the 80s but worked very well. We were in room 11. The bathroom left a lot to be desired. Towels were very old and tattered. The spout for tub wasn’t secured to the wall but water pressure was fine. Seems like they slapped some paint on things to upgrade, but not done professionally. The room was clean, but definitely not dusted in some time. There was a fridge and microwave which was a nice bonus. There was a couch with a coffee table and chairs to hang out. The pool looked clean but I didn’t swim. Location is convenient to town. I would definitely stay here again if I need a place to crash. It’s nothing fancy but definitely clean enough and definitely comfortable and convenient if you want to walk around.
It's a affordable motel, clean, good location and friendly service and good price.
My family and I absolutely LOVED this place. The owners Felix and Diana were so kind and accommodating. Our cabin, the pool, and the grounds were all immaculate. Our two-bedroom cabin was equipped with everything we needed for a peaceful and relaxing
Last minute booking as we lost the other booking in another hotel. Was bit sceptic as I never stayed 2 stars motel before. It was a pleasant surprise. The place is way above 2 stars. Room was clean and spacious. I didnt have any issue with bathroom l
For me and my wife the biggest selling point was that the O'Sullivan's is pet friendly. We have a bigger dog and it is often difficult to travel with him. O'Sullivan's solved that problem and clearly it wasn't an issue for just us - just about every
I came up to Lake George for my birthday and had a wonderful stay at the inn. It's a great location- you are within walking distance of the lake, so no need to deal with street parking. Elizabeth and Brady were very welcoming, the rooms were spotless
Birthday dinner. Packed house on a Wednesday night. Sat in the back room, very cozy space. House wine (very reasonable) and a signature cocktail. Both excellent. Small portions - crab cake app, cobb salad app. Again - both given high marks, the sala
Such a beautiful place. Loved our cabin, the property was beautiful, and such a wonderful place for kids. Had such a beautiful beach, and pools. Loved so much, and can't wait till next year .
My one night last minute escape to Lake George was amazing thanks to our server Sarah at my wine tasting at Adirondack Winery. I had such an experience with the 7 wine & 1 premium. My favorite which I renamed is the Beachside Bubbly *B!+â¬h yes I ad
