Ordered calamari and shrimp for appetizers. Honestly wasn’t too impressed, not much flavor to the calamari and shrimp seemed like it was dethawed for hours prior to serving (wet and chewy). The salads were good and the homemade Italian dressing was great. Leaving 4 stars because the entrees were incredible, we got 3 16oz filets and they were cooked beautifully and had a lot of flavor. We also ordered the chicken parmesan and that was very good as well. The pasta sides and bake potatoes were good as well. Like others have said, would be nice if they updated the inside of the restaurant, very old feel. But otherwise a good experience.
My family and I love Libs! The food is always amazing and the staff have always been friendly and accommodating. The restaurant is a bit dated, but that doesn't matter to us as long as the food is good! I highly recommend Libs to anyone that gets the chance to go!
So nice! Mostly, polite folks working there. Had a small issue with drinks being cut of our group too early, as several had bus runs and came to our union dinner late. They should have honored those as we still had the area, space until 8pm. They turned 4 guests away from the bar and did not honor the drink cards, and it had just turned 7pm!
Otherwise, a nice set up, majority of the food was good. Great turn put of our friends and family of ECSD BUS transportation department were gathered.
The appetizer, calamari, was average at best. The salad was fresh, and the main entrees served at our table ( prime rib, beef medallions, and pasta with shrimp) were excellent. Service was good as well. I would recommend this location.
Made a reservation for me and my wife for our anniversary. Server was kind and sweet but waiting time for food was outrageous. Told to go here for a great dinner. negative. Waited two hours and still didn’t receive our meal. All guest around us as well we’re waiting for hours. Olive Garden has better service.
Looking for great food that comes with a great experience? Make a reservation for Lib's Supper Club. We celebrate our anniversary there every year and sometimes visit other days (we live 45 minutes away). Stepping inside this low-lit space is like going back in time to a popular celebrity hot spot, and their pictures along with Hollywood memorabilia are what you'll find decorating the walls. Straight ahead is a small, intimate bar with its friendly tenders busy mixing drinks and drawing drafts. Surrounding the bar are two dining rooms and two banquet rooms, so you never know if you'll be vicariously celebrating someone else's event at the same time. Attire varies so dress to your comfort. Lib's is known for steak and seafood with good reason; both are excellent. We usually get one of the Shrimp Scampi Florentine; warning ⚠️ must love butter and garlic! The service is top notch and there's something special about listening to and seeing servers navigate their food carts to tables of happy patrons as you anticipate your turn. Portions are very generous, so plan on having some for lunch the next day. I highly recommend going to Lib's!
Haven't been here in a while- no reason not to come other than we are 30 minutes away. Enjoyed our meals and we'll worth the drive! Advise reservations- glad we thought to do that. No delays at all
Consistently amazing food!! I've tried several dinners, & ALWAYS above average, great service & selection. Extra large portions!! We go back every other month...its a special treat! Pics L- medium strip steak w/chicken scampi. R-Blackened Prime Rib, med/well w/shrimp scampi...perfection💙
Nice place to dine solo or with family.
It was nice to see their delivery truck unloading fresh foods. They have daily specials and a menu with a good variety but simple.
My chicken was cooked to perfection and not dry and had freshly cooked mushroom
Made it to Elmira on a return trip from the Finger Lakes. This University campus is gorgeous and full of beautiful old buildings. This was not the original home for the study but has become its final resting place. It wasn't open the day we visited b
Yooooo! If you live or work or occasionally visit Elmira you need to check out this place. Lucky 7 Deli on the corner of Walnut & Washington (used to be a Byrne Dairy).
They make all kinds of things but it's a Mediterranean/Middle East style kitchen
Takes a lot to impress me. Food and service were excellent. This was a first and definitely not our last time! Prices are good, too! I recommend getting their cinnamon toast, so yummy!ð
So impressed with this hidden gem. I had no idea this place was a restaurant for the first 3 years living here. Now I visit weekly. The fettuccine Alfredo and harvest salad are 10/10. My go to favorites.
Awesome store always love coming here. Awesome place to bring someone. So many animals to look at. They have birds, fresh and saltwater fish, bunnies, chinchillas, hamsters, ferrets, ginni pigs, mice, shrimp, and even living coral decor for your fish
Barista was lovely and suggested my drink (an iced cinnamon bun latte) and it did NOT disappoint! I absolutely loved it 𥰠Plenty of seating around the cafe and street parking down the block! Overall really nice atmosphere and I hope to back again!
Always the place to go for hard to find specialty items for specific receipts! Best place in town for bakery items and unique gifts. Got a few treasures today!
Delicious subs! A great place to order ahead or walk in. Portions are huge. Excellent prices too. The employees were helpful and very kind. I canât wait to go back and try more.
No place to sit and eat, this is a take out place only.
Great course, groundskeepers do an amazing job. Very nice clubhouse. Should consider having some dates throughout the season dediated for public play, let your local golfers enjoy your beautiful course.
Beautiful venue! I was impressed with all of the staff and the place was nice and clean! I never knew how beautiful Elmira is until my trip on Wednesday!
