Liberty Lodge Apartments - Motel in Papillion - 1409 E Gold Coast Rd, USA

This was my AirBnB. It was lovely. It was quiet and suited my needs. It was also very close to my friends house. Winner

I attempted to set up a showing of an apartment twice, however each time the agent did not show, and didn't respond to texts/calls. This property is managed by Collective Development, and from what I've seen they do not treat tenants/prospective tenants well. As to why, I'm not sure if they are undermanned or just doing a poor job.

This extended stay motel is ugly on the outside , needs to be updated . Seen owner fixing up a few rooms , but with used carpet and horribly stained mattresses. Manager on-site was extremely rude when I called for a rate .Thought it to be odd if I wanted a short time, now I felt old having to look up what that meant . To only be offended more. I proceeded to go to motel after rate seemed decent and I only needed a short time( a few weeks) . When I got there , I was told to pay more than what I was quoted . I was in a jam and decided to take the room . The cleaning service was few and far between . I noticed people who must have been there longer were getting catered to and having meals delivered to their rooms from management . When I went to pay for another week , manager again extremely rude and informs me she dont like me and that she does not want me in her room , yet took my money. I held out until my job was finished , and I got out of there as fast as I could. Also before I forget , myself and many others had also complained about the mice that were infesting the rooms and we got no where with that . Now this was about 4 months ago so hopefully the owner actually took care of the problem..

They are too expensive. They are 120.00 more then American Inn in council bluffs IA. The only cleaned my room 1 time in a 7 day period. They target Truckers and businesses for a higher rate. Quoted $240.00 a week then got there and it was over $100.00 more. Told it was a tax but really was haggled and lied to. Talked to some residents who were charged much less.

This is an outstanding, Family-Run, spotlessly clean motel. It is much better and considerably lower priced than the extended stay motels in Bellevue who have maid service every two weeks and charge extra for everything including exorbitant telephone charges, Wi-Fi charges, etc.. The Bellevue ("newer") places also force all of the riff-raff outside to smoke cigarettes, so you can expect to encounter drunk, stoned transient construction workers and their Entourages in these Bellevue places. Liberty Lodge does of course rent rooms to tradespeople, but the environment is not conducive to outdoor partying, fireworks, etc.. Very tranquil. Security at Liberty Lodge is considerably better and the family that owns and runs the place has been a part of the Papillon community for a very long time.

Home ;-) The outside appearance of this extended stay hotel may put you off by being so dated, BUT dont pass it up because of that! The caretakers of this place know that the inside is much more important than the outside and it shows! Inside the rooms are more like nice suites at a medium level hotel or like small efficiency homes! I have submitted several photos of our room so dont mind the baby on the bed, the sheet on the couch or the stuff on the table, look at the potential for a feel-good temporary home! Sure there are a few minor tweaks to make it perfect but for the price, (I paid close to two fifty for a week) the people and all the perks of the room, you CANT beat it! We looked at a valueplace before this and it was over four hundred and not nearly as nice! Plus they were quite rude. With this room you get a full size stove, oven, fridge, double sink, trash can, a nice hide-a-bed couch, two chairs and a smaller kitchen table, plenty of room for clothing and food and more! If you travel three people including an infant deep, you will understand the need for all the full size items in this room, especially the actual trash can thats big enough for trash rather than a few tiny pieces of paper! Its close to several shopping centers, grocery stores and restaurants. Its CLEAN!!!! Traveling as much as we do we have encountered the detestable fight with bed bugs before and dont ever want to experience it again, and we cant find it here! I could go on and on about the comforts of this apartment style room, but you should really just go see for yourself. Take a chance, you will not regret it!

I'm currently staying here from Ga. My husband is up here working, and I don't want to go home. I feel like I'm home now, everyone is friendly, the staff is awesome and so helpful. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Good place and close to stores and the mall. The price is not bad too. N its cleaner than most motels out here.
