Cute little gem in Frankfort. The house is lovely. We didn't walk the gardens much as it just had stopped raining and some over brick paved area looked like it needed to be trimmed back as it was hard to walk through.
I’m a team member of Paranormal Connections and was there for this investigation. Liberty Hall was the most historic place I’ve been. The people who lived there had generations of history that has been very well preserved.
My experience there was I believe with a woman who loved the gardens. Her room faced the beautiful gardens out behind the building. She seemed to love when I opened the curtains for her. And she also seemed very comfortable around the lady who worked there.
It was a wonderful experience. I love being a part of Paranormal Connections.
Julia was the best! She accommodated our request for extra information on the Gray Lady. Liberty Hall is a beautiful home and the history is so interesting.
Absolutely a wonderful tour to add to your trip. Our tour guide, Megan was very knowledgeable and very patient with our questions we had! Orlando Brown House is very worth seeing, it's part of the tour. Thank you for having our family!
One of the premier events of Derby Season, Bourbon & Browns at Liberty Hall Historic Site celebrates the historical contributions of the family of Senator John Brown, Kentucky's first US Senator after becoming a state, and the significance of bourbon and it's history in Kentucky. The annual fundraiser benefits the historic Liberty Hall site which includes the Orlando Brown House, Senator John Brown's son, and 4 acres of sprawling gardens. Bourbon tastings, bluegrass music, a live & silent auctions, as well as appetizers and food, cap off the evening and help transport the attendees back to a simpler time in Kentucky's history.
Loved this your! Our guide was so kind and knowledgeable. She answered all our questions, had a great discussion with us, and gave a recommendation for dinner. This was well worth the time!
Wonderful tour, our tour guide Julia was amazing! Well worth the time. Highly recommend.
Was not open when I stopped but it was a neat starting point to walk around the historical district of Frankfort and learn the history of the town.

I stayed back in July and had a fantastic experience. The owners were very generous and kind, telling us the history of the Meeting House which Frankfort is rich with. They used to own restaurants in the past, and it shows because their breakfast was
I take my granddaughter here several times during the open season and we love it. Releasing butterflies, feeding the butterflies, interacting with them. She knows so much about butterflies and loves to tell everyone everything she knows. Lola's child

Service was outstanding. Bought a living room suit from them to be delivered Friday. They went out of their way to give us good deals . No pressure to buy. We took our time and they just let us look at our own pace but was happy to assist when needed
Visited the Old Capitol Building, Military Museum and the Historical Museum. All were amazing. We had a great afternoon checking out the buildings and grounds. Lots of history!
